Rieekan or Mothma?

P.s. Leia is also an option, but i would prefer either rieekan or mothma. Cracken is right out, someone else has taken him and so is dodonna.

Unless your opponent always rolls at least 2 Accs every roll..... (or at least has the past 5 games)

In which case it becomes a bigger choice ;)

Hahaha no. The CR90s become too expensive for me.

I like mothma, but it seems like when i bring her she tends to be taken out. At the same time, rieekan only works if my ships get bown up so.

Mothma 1, Rieekan 0.

The bigger concern for me here is you are not leveraging aces... for either Rieekan OR the basic CC veterancy rules.

I hardly use Aces at all. Whats the point of defense tokens if they get swarmed by 4Ties? Whats the use of their ability of they get murdered before they get to use it?

I do use some aces, but i much rather prefer to save my points and get a couple more generic sqds.

And yes, escort. Past cucooning a unique in escorts (escorts completely surround the unique) those **** speed 4 ties just jump into and exploit any openings.

the chance of veteran is just too good in CC though.

First CC i played i got a pelta veterancy and blew up a ISD in one rounds with bombers...

Isnt it if the ship/unique sqd gets killed in the same game it doesnt get vet?

To put it better.

Shara kills Tie 1.

Shara will get vet if she survives. But if tie 2 kills shara, she doesnt get vet?

Of course.

The TIE doesn’t get vet unless it’s unique either.

But Shara with 2 rerolls a game is awesome

Well, it’s the play style I don’t agree with, which is fine and all.

Passive squadrons who exist to do nothing but die and buy time bug me.

I dont play them as passive, they do aim to shoot things.

In my area, if a unique is played they get swarmed and killed.

Generics dont have the same "kill on sight" order uniques have, so they tend to survive longer. Just the other day i had ten numb with 2 Xwings, thought he was safe escorted.

4 ties managed to exploit an opening and killed him in 1 turn, ignored the xwings and engaged some more dangerous sqds about to bomb a ship.

Ten numb got 1 shot off, and he didnt trigger his ability even with a BCC reroll.

And that sort of occourance happens so often i dont really feel the need to unique spam.

Ten Numbs ability is against squads.

BCC is for shots against ships.

You want Ackbar for this list.

Huh read BCC wrong, shows how often i use the thing.

Still despite using the card wrong, ten numb got a reroll and his ability didnt trigger. Will remember BCC is against ships only next time.

Ive never used ackbar with cr90s, mainly cause then i cant shoot out my front.... id much rather shoot 2 red out the front then spend a CF dial to add a red on my side, double arc 4red.

How consistently do you double arc with every ship every turn? Just shoot 4 red out the side.

With this fleet, I'd take Ackbar. Four red die out of the side arcs, five with a CF command is no joke. If you are set on the choice originally proffered, then my taste would be Mothma.

With cr90s? Almost every turn.

Then you have mastered that play.

Take Ackbar and aim for Ackbar Slashes ( and get away with it) - that will be a fun challenge, and the only way you’ll be throwing EVEN MORE dice
