What's the statute of limitations on new movie spoilers?
2 weeks?
1 month?
A YEAR!?

I feel like the standard length is about a month. But it's also the holiday season for many areas of the world, so I'd probably give everyone a little extra time to see it. If they haven't seen it by Groundhog Day, that's on them.
If next weekend's box office has a similar drop off I think everyone going to see it has.
I wait until the DvD release, to about a week after.
After that there's no excuse at all.

30 days is good, and with holidays, I would think they would have more time to see it.
And if they watch Groundhog Day first, they are not true fans, no matter how funny Bill Murray is.

It’s true, this man has no...
DVD release, it's not that much effort.

Unless you work Minimum Wage Retail Shifts.
Then the Schedule is your new God, and it demands total and complete obedience with no say, change or respite until February.
Yeah, I say wait until DVD/blu-ray Release. Not everyone can/wants to see it in the theaters.
Case in point: my wife doesn’t like going to the theater so I rarely see movies before they hit Redbox. Star Wars ep VIII is actually the only exception from this past year. But I only saw Guardians of the Galaxy 2 a couple weeks ago, and still haven’t seen Spider-Man Homecoming or Thor:Ragnarok yet.
I'd say by New Years everyone that is going to care about spoilers should have already seen it by then.
For those that say wait until Netflix/DvD or a year and not be exposed to some sort of spoiler is rather unrealistic.
Besides, we all know by now that Darth Vader is Luke's dad.
But even when the spoiler warnings stop, you 're still going to need [trigger] warnings until the hurt stops.
Edited by InquisitorMPfft this is a wargame forum there are no safe zones here, you should watch your six at all times.
Just because some people are insensitive dorks and are inevitably going to spoil movies on the interwebs doesn’t mean I want to be one of those dorks. ![]()
That's because your afraid to embrace power!
I say let the spoilers fly. Perhaps you can save some people $9-$15 by revealing enough if this cinematic abomination.
If typing 17 chars is too much effort for you I question your ability to function in society. Minimal effort on your side, great rewards for some peers.

Maybe you could let us know to whom you are speaking.

Anyone who thinks putting spoiler tags is any effort at all. No reason not to keep this up until the dvd release, because it costs you literaly nothing.
One more day?
At SJG, things were well defined, to the point of an official warning:
