Terrinoth Adventure - "level?"

By Grungyape, in Genesys

Does anyone know what "level" the characters for this adventure were, or should be?

We've played the SW side of things and want to try this adventure. I'd like to either use legal pre-gens or put characters together of the right level to play. I'm not sure where to start.

I'd like to stick to the rules in the core book, so we can reference it, and that does not appear to have any talent trees like I am seeing in the one pre-gen snap I found.

Any help is appreciated.

The characters were all +190-210xp.

There were no talent trees or pyramids spelled out on the sheets, but I think if you just go with "here's +200 XP" for players to modify their starting characters it should work just fine.

Was it +210? Or was it a human starting 110 + 100 more? Elves 90 starting + 100 more? None of them look like they spent 200 extra xp, unless the hero Abilities are very very expensive.

Huh, you have a point there.

They probably are all base +100 XP...

So at 15-20 xp per 5 hr session, they’re beyond novice, but by no means “high level” in the d20 sense of it.

5 hrs is probably 25-30xp but yes, they are roughly 4 or 5 sessions in

So we used this as a base, and it worked out perfectly for what felt right for the characters. We also used the Genesys Talents Expanded PDF. Thanks!
