Ill be real honest the new trillogy fighters might as well be the same as the original in the scale there at in armada. Your best hope to distinguish is a distinct form of marking or coloring like black for the new trillogy fighters, new dials with drastically diffrent layout/color sceme, or the simplist in my opionion just put a diffrent number of fighters on the stand (so either 4 or 2).

Ooh I think changing the number of fighters would work well. I don't know how youd prevent people from using those fighter stands for other squads though. I personally would be fine with them just having different cards and dials. Shouldn't be any more difficult to tell them apart than it is to differentiate aces from generics.

Because the rules specify that Standard Squadron stands are 3 tier, and Irregular Squadron Stands are single model.

If they created a "New Era" Fighter stand and made it 2 models... Then only New Era Fighters could use that stand legally.

Otherwise you're breaking the rules on utilising correct components.... as a technicality...

I've never caught that rule before. Well problem solved then. I definitely think 2 or 4 pegs would be best then.
