As far as I understand, Maarek Stele flew (at least) the following ships:
If we keep his PS and ability, which of these is the deadliest? Advanced with title and ATC? OS-1 with Protons? Defender with Mangler? Gunboat with Mangler and Linked?
Is VI the best EPT for him, or maybe Calculation?
IIRC He only flew the TIE Avenger version of the TIE Advanced, not the Vader version. Of that list I would say the Defender or Gunboat, try to get more crits. (If the Avenger were in the game I would choose that.

He is already available in the Defender and Advanced.
With the Two ships we have him on I prefer the Advanced. The ATS fits his ability nice and putting a Mangler on a defender (ignoring the two titles and spending 4 points to upgrade a 3red primary to a mangler), dosn't feel right to me. I think Maarek might be interesting on an XG-1 with the options to have a Mangler cannon alongside reloadable torpedos and Advanced Homing Missiles. The last one might be really interesting with his ability.

Oh yes did not remember Advanced Homing Missiles! I guess I'll have to make a Gunboat pilot card for him

That's why you ditch the Mangler, put x7 or D/Tractor on it and give him A Score To Settle instead!
