Hello everyone. I've put together a couple lists for some upcoming casual games, and figured I'd start a post in this sub-forum for the first time. I wanted to put together something that would be fun to fly while competitive with other casual-ish lists that my friends play. Let me know your thoughts please. I'm a bit worried about not having a bid for the aces, but I really couldn't see where to trim fat other than possibly title on Kylo. After the TAP launches cruise, I plan on using it as an aggressive/cheap blocker. The builds seem to be pretty standard for Kylo and Vader from what I've seen around here and on the table.

Hmm. They are pretty standard builds, but how much are you committed to EU on Vader? Don't get me wrong, Vader loves boost, but those four points could mean any number of useful additions: The title and/or Autothrusters on the TAP, upgrading to harpoon missiles (which seem like they'll be easier to get off at low PS), or just a bid.

Alternately, if you can't give up EU on Vader, maybe the TAP isn't the best place for the missile? Without Autothrusters or the title, the TAP is nothing special - it's a 2 attack, 4 hp, 3 agility blocker. You could get the same stats (admittedly lacking boost) slightly cheaper from an Epsilon squadron TIE/fo. Shift the cruise missile onto Vader, and you get a comparable Alpha strike (no Guidance chips, but Vader can focus and gain the TL in the same turn, so it should balance) but a much easier task firing the missile, and a small bid to help Kylo.

Those seem to be the only changes you can make without fundamentally changing what the list does.

The idea of this list is great. I would drop the sienar spec and take dark curse. This means you have a 3pt. bit. dark curse can do some blocking and is viable in the late game.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not committed to EU, so I may play around with some of the suggestions you've given. I like the idea of getting at least title on the TAP, + AT would definitely make it much more survivable if I keep the TAP.

I like it. I really haven't flown dark curse much at all. It feels like much of my offense at this point is from Vader, while Kylo is very survivable if I fly him right; my only concern with Dark Curse is offensive output in a list like this. If I take MacchuWA's suggestion on moving the missile to Vader, I keep the additional alpha strike offense and can take Dark Curse or his recommended Epsilon Sq TIE/FO at 99 or 100 points for the list. I lose the bid if I do that but keep the missile.

I was going to suggest something similar, going with some form of TIE or TIE/FO mini ace. Or even Howlrunner!

you can play around with the upgrades. But I like it that way

Another 16 point option would be Wampa with Targeting Computer. If you're going for 19 points, Mauler Mithel with Snap Shot is great. They're both way scarier than your average TIE fighter and at the very least should draw some fire from your aces.
