My group needs to move to remote play. I was looking around and it seems like the way to go was via Google Hangouts with the plugins for dice and Roll20, but that is down now. Have people found a good solution around this? What are the some tools people have been using (recently) for remote play?

Use an online chatroom, set some basic IC/OOC ground rules and run a shared dice-roller (doesn't need to be integrated into the chatroom).

Discord has a dice bot called "D1-C3" that works great with chat commands. I usually use Roll 20 for maps (If I need them) and Discord for everything else and it works fine

Discord is great but no video just voice and text
