I wish a green x-wing like the one in Rebels with Rebels characters.
Empire: Sith Infiltrator with Maul Pilot Card - big ship with cloak action
Rebels: Resistance A-Wing / Blue Squadron X-Wing - either with Blue Leader title card (available for both old A-Wings and X-Wings to give those ships a boost)
Scum: Meson Martinet with Sidon Ithano Pilot card / Partisan X-Wing with Edrio Pilot Card

The only image we know about the Mison Martinet is this:
I'm sure there is another Scum ship out there with more "lore" in it.

That's exactly why I want this in X-Wing. I doubt it will feature in any of the upcoming movies or Rebels, so they might as well go with their own version, signed off by Lucasfilm
Rebel: Resistance A-wing
Imperial: The FO Light Shuttle or TIE Reaper
Scum: Ark Angel or a Gauntlet.
While I've gone on record several times about what I want in the next wave, here I think I'm going to list what type of ship I think each faction needs right now.
Rebels: I think what the Rebels need right now is a good Ace/Pocket Ace option. A-Wings was the first attempt at this and you occasionally see Jake fulfilling the role, but it seems A-Wings are better off in a swarming role with their duel EPT capabilities. The main thing this new ship would need over the A-Wing is better damage output. While more red dice is the usual answer, Omega Leader shows there are ways around defensives that don't touch red dice inflation. Candidates for this role: Rz-2 A-Wings, T-Wings, N-1 Naboo Starfighters, and the A-9 Vigilance Interceptor.
Imperials: The think I feel is missing from the imperial arsenal is a big based ship that can act as a gunship and be kitted out reasonably well between the 40 to 50 point range. Two ships come close to this role, but fall short. The Upsilon is close, but is still hampered by lack of turn around maneuver. And the Firespray is theoretically exactly what I'm talking about, but in practice falls short. If some sort of Firespray fix came out, then this void I feel would be neatly filled (depending on the fix). New Candidates for the role: The Blastboat, the Kom'rk, and the VCX 820.
Scum: This one is a little more tricky for me. The ships I want to next in Scum are all big base, and Scum have a lot of those already. While I'm okay with them being more geared towards big bases, I'm not sure that's what they need. When it comes to need, I feel what Scum needs is a small base support ship. Something akin to a Quadjumper that has a nice little niche that some lists will find useful. As for what ship fills this bill, I am unsure. Possibly a Scum version of the Sheathaped?
DJ and the Libertine. Maul and the Gauntlet Fighter.
Well, for Imps, we still got a few TiE variants lying around. Like the TiE Hunter. Other than that, as the novel Tarkin told us, the Empre used V-Wings and V-19 Torrents for a few years, so we do have some non-TiEs for small bases. Also, Skipray, TiE Reaper, Delta Shuttle.
For Rebels, the N1 has been all over the OT era now, from Shattered Empire to Battlefront II- regardless of ones stance on the issue, an implementation similar to the ARC is certainly possible. They could also give us some more obscure stuff like- well, like the little T-Wing, for example. Look no further than Age of Rebellion's "Stay on target" expansion to see some of these things. Most are ugly, but not all.
The Gauntlet would be nice for scum. I'd be very uncertain whether they could realistically implement that luxury ship from TLJ, as we need a couple of pilots, and we don't even know DJs real name, who didn't fly it anyway.
I would be happy with nothing for 6 months to give time to play all the new stuff and spend my money on Legion.
I'll mirror the sentiments of some others here and hope for a little slow-down; I'm a "buy one of everything" person and there are ships I've yet to be able to really explore or even fly at this point. Aside from wishing for a non-wave "Heroes of Scarif" type pack with new T-65 and Y-wing goodies (and a ****ing K2-SO crew), my hopes might be:
Rebel: Probably the RZ-2 with some cards that can simultaneously bump our current A-wings.
Imperial: Imperial, but PLEASE not the TIE Predator. It's too far removed from the GCW timeline and I'm sorry, but it's just ugly. Which means I have no room to speak because...
Scum: Slave 2/Pursuer. Yes, yes, you all hate it but I just like its lines. This isn't likely though, so I'm happy to use my Shapeways model whenever I use Boba. Otherwise, The Skipray would be cool, and we might get a Scurrg-esque dual-faction ship out of it.
Ultimately, it's anyone's guess. There will be the usual cacophony of "OMG yes, finally!" and "WTF, FFG why you hate <faction> so much?!"

Why not the TIE Reaper ? With 2 crew, 3 attack and some maneuver shenanigans, it could help the Empire a lot.
VCX 820 is TIE Sentinel-level of obscure, buried in the deepest (and less redeemable) part of the old EU.
I think the Kom'rk (Gauntlet) would fit better with the Scum faction (and Maul pilot). But FFG will need to shrink it to large base size (because it doesn't fit the epic playstyle).
The Skipray Blasboat at least would give something the Imperials don't own (beside the expensive and cumbersome Decimator), a resistant, yet mobile, 360º attack ship with crew . Something the Rebel/Scum take for granted.

I didn't mention the reaper because we know very little about it. It could made to fit the role, but all we've seen it do is act as a drop ship. I was focusing on ships who lore wise could fit. I haven't seen enough of the Reaper to think it is anything more than a drop ship.
Yes, the VCX 820 is deep level obscure, but it actually fits the role I'm talking about.
Kom'rk's definitely belong more to Scum than Imperial, but I also feel it has a good basis to be duel faction with the Empire due to Clan Saxon. (Heck, I've even advocated for it to be tri-faction)
The Skipray Blastboat is probably the best fit for the role in my opinion, but wanted to give out options.
Edited by SabineKeyOh, I know what I want for Imperials. The Sentinel Class landing ship.

Fixed it for you.
Rebels probably the Resistance A-wing. Give it an extra shield make it better than the E-wing and done.
Imperials The Patrol Craft so that Imperials have a ship that can go backwards but unlike the scum ship has decent firepower. Can you imagine a Quadjumper with firepower 3?
There is also the V-wing for Imperials also give them their own astromech slot and upgrade <imperial astromech> sounds great. If not then how about some Imperial Bounty Hunter crossovers, or the Clone Wars Y-wing with <imperial astromech>
Scum So many to chose from but at this point I say let FFG pick one. It isn't like they could do any worse than what they already have.
Rogue One Shield generator
Hammerhead
Shuttle SW-0608
Blue/Phoenix squadron
Scum: DJ ship
Rebels: a wing from sequels era
Imps: v wing
Anything from the following:
X-Wing/TIE Fighter series:
T-wing (rebs)
R-41 Starchaser (Scum)
Stormtrooper transport D-9? (imps)
appearantly the Avenger and Missile Boat are already in the game. There’s also lots of large ships and transports from these games but the IPV would be a great smaller Epic ship.
prequels/CW:
N-1 (rebs)
Eta-2 (imps)
V-wing (Scum)
V-19 Torrent is my favorite from this era but I dunno if FFG would ever put another explicitly non-TIE on the Imp squad.
B-22 (Grevous Fighter) and the Magnaguard ships (Xanadu Blood for Cade Babe!) would be perfect for Scum or even a little cross over with ob-1 piloting grevous’ ship for the rebs.
Imp/clone versions of V-wing, Y-wing and Z-95 would be beautiful.
other canon OT ships:
T-16 skyhopper. If the Wook Boat and TIE Striker get to fly into space, then Luke’s original ship can too.
Same for cloud cars and Scum.
Dornean Gunship and Hammerhead for reb epic.
Sequel ships
A-wing, ; Scum epic.
the crimson whatever’s ship, Rey’s parent’s ship and the Canto ,,(Bight Warbucks ship all need to be in epic for Scum.
the shuttle Finn and Rose escaped the Big Ship on can be a fun cross faction ship.
wdf
TIE Reaper
N-1 Starfighter
(Insert scum ship that appeared for like 0.05 seconds in the background of ANH...)
Rebels/Resistance
RZ-2 A-Wing - Pretty obvious one since it was in TLJ.
N1 Starfighter - In some comics, Battlefront, and most importantly lets us finally have access to a Leia pilot card.
T-Wing - It was in the X-wing games, so yea.
H-Wing - Doubt it since we just got the Resistance Bomber, but there is official FFG artwork for it.
Empire/First Order
Sentinel Class Shuttle - Only ship in scale from the OT still not in the game, and with its appearance in Rebels offers tons of crew options like Thrawn.
Tie Scout - Possible jamming action ship.
Delta Class Shuttle - I don't really want it but it could bring Krennic to the game.
First Order Shuttle - From TLJ, could add Snoke and Phasma to the game I guess but I'd rather have any of the above instead.
Han Solo film tie in - The film is still supposedly due out in May so it would line up for a Wave 14 release, but again rather have anything else above instead.
Scum
YT-1300 - Quite possible with the Han Solo film release, and would likely bring scum Han, Lando, and Chewie pilots to the Scum faction. Don't really want it, but I can easily see this happening.
YT-2000 - Probably what I want most, since it would allow us the protagonists from the X-wing games split amongst the different factions. Keyan Farlander for the Rebels, Maarek Stele for the empire, and Ace Azzameen for Scum.
Lady Luck - Maybe too big but can bring Lando and Mara as scum pilots to the game.
Gauntlet Fighter - Again probably too big, but is fairly popular. I guess alternatively they could release it as a cross faction Epic ship, Ezra for Rebels, Gar Saxon for Empire, and Maul and Bo-Katan for Scum.
DJ's ship - Meh don't like it but FFG could probably make it look decent and it had likely as much screen time as the Quad Jumper.

But this is fantastic, isn't it? It's a ship that is small enough that we'd buy it being maneuverable, big enough to warrant some tankiness, coud fit on both base sizes, let enough people out to deserve multiple crew slots, and is a TiE, so could come with both a lot of HP but no shields, giving it potential downsides.
Also, while we don't know much about it, we know that it ferried Death Troopers in Rogue One, so that could give us an Imperial version of Wookie Commandos (or something along the lines). Plus, next to Krennic, whom I would rather like to see in his shuttle, but take basically anywhere, we still have a few background characters to give rules to. General Ramda, Admiral Goran, ****, they could give us Galen Erso as a 0 point upgrade along the lines of "A debt to pay", as a huge risk to both players.
The point is, FFG can pretty much go hog wild in the design space here, fill in gaps in the Imperial crew slot with more types of Officers, all while giving us a Model that looks straight up amazing. This is why we need one.

Definitely depends on point of view. Seeing the limited data on the Reaper as a blank canvas is certainly a valid view point. But, I still view that as forcing an issue rather than using a correctly sized piece to fit. I personally think the Skipray Blastboat fits the mold with out any "forcing" and can provide a similar platform for more Imperial officers along with the opportunity to give a character like Mara Jade a pilot card.
