Some questions of a stubborn friend.

By Harlock2, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

I have two churches of sigmar up, making my opponent pay 2 extra resources to target my units with card effects. He doesn't have the resources to target my units. He has some units with forced effects in play.

would bloodthirster (if he was the only unit of his in the zone) sacrifice itself? Yes, according to the official ruling.

So does Vile sorceress -1 hp to a unit and +1hp to another of his units? Could he just -1 and +1 the same unit?

Does Bule corrupt himself or an allied unit?

basically, does this ruling apply to all forced effects of this nature?

Well Harlock, your not just wrong, your stupid. If it is forced then you have to do it of course. I believe that the churches of sigmar is only affected by the action card effects like the sorcerer who deals one damage to a damaged target unit. But I think Lord of Bule should not corrupt himself since at the beginning of your next turn he can just uncorrupt and fight. If that was the case then he would be uncorrupted every other turn. Vile sorceress isnt affected either since her effect is forced also.

My god man, you are a moron.... I can click your name and see the date you registered.... LMFAO.

LOL! I am not stubborn!

Church of Sigmar works against any targetting card effect, be it Action or Forced.

"Card Effects

There are four different types of card effects in the
Warhammer: Invasion LCG. These are: actions,
forced effects, constant effects, and keywords." (p. 15)

So if for example, you have 0 Resources, you can't target that opponent's Units with Bule, so you have to corrupt one of your own Units (of course you can restore that Unit in your Kingdom Phase). But something like Festering Nurglings, when you play them, if you can't pay, you have to corrupt one of your own Units in the zone where you play FN.
