Appreciate all the great feedback guys!

We've begun discussing episode 2, and I promise the audio quality will be better. we had some technical issues, and just didn't record things in a very ideal way.

I honestly didn't have any issues with the audio quality, so I think you guys are doing fine.

A little heavy on the naughty themes, as in they get overdone a bit, but good convo. Audio is fine for a conversational podcast. I agree with your reikkan aces opinion concerning any fleet with more flotillas than other ships.

Honestly, the profanity and innuendo was a little much. I'm not offended, but I can't refer new players to this as easily as I could with IFF.

I enjoyed the conversation about the Aceholes, though I've find that I just can't seem to make running work quite as well. Maybe I need more practice.

I have to disagree regarding Raddus having an underwhelming ability. Even without instantly going first, he has a shocking capability for potentially dropping a powerful ship into a critical location at the very worst moment.

I played 5 games now against Raddus and every one has ended with a tabling or near tabling of my opponent. Maybe the people running him against me aren't utilizing him correctly but I have not been impressed. In every game I have been able to force my opponent to deploy his set back ship, usually a liberty, in a place of my choosing and not theirs through careful placement of fighters. The end result every time has been a dead ship for my opponent within two rounds while the most they've ever accomplished with him is one shot from the new ship. I think he's got much more potential with MC30s just because I can't limit his deployment choices so severely.

As double Pelta guy, I don't know how my list fits into the GH+Yavaris paradigm at all since it's not only double Pelta, but also Garm and no Gallant Haven. ;)

I thought we said we didn't have a problem with your list, I think we played in round 2 at MI regionals, (I can't imagine 2 guys running garm and 2 peltas) we talked quite a bit about your list, I think we all liked it. not having Gallant Haven makes it OK. I got beat because I got outplayed, that happens and I'm fine with it. All the FCT made it so you could fling Bwings all over the place, I wasn't expecting you to be able to do that.

It's certainly a similar list that does similar things, but not the pariah that GH yavaris needs to become.

By the end of the discussion, certainly. But it was introduced as being similar. I'm just giving you a hard time though. :) It was a fun game, and I cost myself a TP going for the 10-1 instead of moving Yavaris to safety for the 9-2. It then died and became an 8-3. I'm torn between playing this fleet again for Indy or going with something different.

Since you guys asked for feedback, tone down the aggressive sexual humor. I had to turn it off by the time the second or third segment was introduced with rim job jokes.

Funny how that works

.....you’re welcome.

You can not just give us a taste of the rim and leave us hungering for more. I want to go all the way.

Guys, tone down the profanity just a little (I promise, use it when it matters and it feels better) and give us another rimj- sorry, podcast.

Potty mouths do not=Adult content.

We posted this on the Facebook page the other day, I’ll just drop it right here as well.

Don’t worry guys, we haven’t gone anywhere. Episode II is long since recorded and is currently in the process of being edited. We tried a new way of recording....and let’s just say we won’t be using the same software again. **** the RINGR app. The new episode should be out VERY soon. Stay tuned.

I wouldn't have turned new players towards iff either. they were full of wrong info and inaccurate rules.

But what they got wrong was rarely so bad it couldn't be easily corrected. Also, they were fun, friendly, and actively promoted the broader Armada community online and locally. They are directly responsible for keeping many new players going in the first few waves myself included.

Agreed. The good content gets compromised with the potty-mouth nonsense, not to mention I have to limit where i'm listening to it. Not good.

There's some good, informed Armada information in your podcast--and I thank you for that.

There's also lots of unnecessary middle school humor and calls to yell, curse, and deride players who run Rieekan Aceholes--which isn't the way our community should respond to unliked lists.

If I get more of the former and a lot less of the latter, this will probably be near the top of my podcast queue.

I think there is a bit too much hurt about your podcasting style. If you enjoy making them that way, power to you guys. It was a great first episode and I look forward to hearing more. If you do decide to clean it up, I hope you dont lose the humour and fun; I think people generally take things too seriously in life and miss the forest for the trees.
