Ships We Still Need

I believe you meant to say " rein of terror from a sith tyrant ", but i expect such propaganda from Imperial forces. :P

I wish they’d release a shield gate like the one In rogue one for the empire.

A more active space station would be interesting. No maneuvers. Have a different kind of command than Navigate. Maybe something like Squadron Command, but for friendly ships.

You Rebels and you're intolerance toward other religions. At least the Sith don't steal babies and turn them into child soldiers.

Wasn't there a certain clone wars were glossing over here? I think everyone has a pice of the 'child soldier' blame pie here.

First, I appreciate the pragmatic assessment of Jedi recruitment strategies. It’s a fair point.

Second, are you being sarcastic, or do you not know that Sith baby stealing was a story arc in both Clone Wars and Rebels, and that is how Maul came to be a Sith apprentice?

I think we all need to read my peer reviewed dissertation; "Child soldiers: just as brainwashed as stormtroopers, at only half the cost."

There I touch on; ready availability, improved ambushes due to height, cheaper to feed, easy size for transport, and so much more!

Worried about long term societal ramifications? Don't worry about that, for when your new regime is installed, you'll have the most loyal men at your disposal. Just remember that weather you clone um, or steal um there Jedi and sith approved! No moral grey area here!

While it is true that our beloved Emperor in his infinite wisdom took force sensitive children to Mustafar this was done for their own safety. These children had already been identified by the Jedi order as potential child soldiers for their order. Nothing indicates any nefarious plot to do potential harm to these children, unlike the standard and common practice of the Jedi to assign them a master and indoctrinate them in the ways of their immoral order.

Maul was adopted by our benevolent Emperor to keep him safe from the diabolical machinations of Mother Talzin. Surely even a rebel can recognize the problems inherent with leaving such a vulnerable youth in the hands of such an evil woman. No where, even in your rebel propaganda films and shows, do the Sith ever send children into combat. Something the Jedi seem to do without any hesitation.

This makes me think of Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal .

Child soldiers are also approved by Batman.

@Megatronrex Sheev wasn’t Emperor yet when most of those things happened. You’re almost as good at retcon as Darth Mickey. Retcon or not, I’m not arguing with you, I was just wondering whether or not you knew those stories. I don’t care how you entertain yourself interpreting them.

Cannibalism, exploitation. It’s all the same.

I totally have to agree with @Megatronrex here that Sith, in there noble mercy, adopt future servants and soldiers at an early age to give them the opportunity of being properly prepared for their glorious service for the Sith order. The Jedi however malevolently send innocent youth as officers into the fray of battle. The Sith would never use any young student without enough experience or righteous rage into action. The great Darth Vader himself freed a bunch of younglings from this sinister fate.

The fact that he wasn't Emperor at the time is irrelevant. When Romans told stories of Octavians youth they still refered to him as Caesar not as the guy who would eventually become Caesar.

I think the rebels need another medium based ship. Don’t know which ship in canon would fit this need, but the large amount of rebel large bases leads to more and more flotillas.

Most of the resistance ships in TLJ would fit the medium ship category I guess. Also stuff like the munificent would probably fit. The OT stuff seems to be mostly done for the rebels (and the imperials who needed only the ISD and the squadrons?).
