Tabletop Admiral Overhaul Live

By werdnaegni, in Runewars Miniatures Game

I've updated Tabletop Admiral

What's New:

  • The look
  • You can now edit and update your lists if you go to them from your profile
  • There's now a link to your Runewars profile page in the navbar under Games, so you don't have to go to the old landing page to get there
  • Your collection matters. Go to your Runewars profile page and update what you own, and the builder will only show what you own. I'll soon add an option to turn that off if you want to experiment.
  • You'll only be shown units/upgrades that are relevant to you. No more seeing other factions if you don't add a unit that allows other factions' units.
  • The "latest lists" page is a bit less messy and shows more lists
  • All the factions are on one page now. No more runewars.com/undead or faction landing page or anything like that. You pick your faction before you start, with no reload of the page.
  • A little floating notification when you add an upgrade. This should help mobile users know that they actually clicked the button without having to scroll down and check.
  • Fallen Hero should work now

Let me know what you think and if there's anything else you'd like to see. I'll keep tweaking and adding things here and there.

As always, if you appreciate the tool and use it, consider throwing me $1 at my Patreon

I like It, nice and smooth!

Like the unit and upgrade being in separate frames.

Some of the cards need a new picture, let me know and if I have them I will send you a JPG, if I have them.

Yeah, maybe I'll flip through them all and make a list at some point. I don't actually own the game, so I'm only able to get what I find out the world wide webbernet, which is sometimes just someone taking a picture of a whole pack on their carpet.

Thank you!

@werdnaegni I have noticed 2 instances of moment of inspiration.

Great job! Thank you!

Since I only play with the same group, it would be nice if you could chose to hide the list from the "Latest lists", otherwise my antagonists can check out my list before a match. I know that I could give the list a weird name and create a few lures, but thats too much work.

maybe a clarification on collection, is that additional trays beyond the core set.

No, that's just how many of those packs you own. Those are all separately sold products. Such as the heavy crossbowman pack.

So maybe that's what you're asking, in which case, yes.

One thing you could do is just add a unit to take your list over 200 points and make it 'illegal'.

If that doesn't sound good enough I can add something.

Is there any way that we can allow a larger army size? I am interested in trying out a 400 point battle :D

There's nothing stopping you from making a 400 point list other than it saying 400/200 points. You can make a 1000 point list If you want

Noticed I have 4 trays of Death Knights available, but only one box in my collection, so it should be two.

Great work, though! I'll let you know if I notice any other issues.

The wiki says 4 figures come in that pack. Is that not right?

In all unit expansions except infantry command and hero expansions there are 2 trays. So for the cavalry (death knights etc) there are 2 trays a' 2 figures = 4 figures. But since the costing is per tray, that is what matters, i.e. 2 in this case.

Great site! really like the look and feel

if I update (I bought another Scion pack) my collection, it doesn't update.

Do I have to clear cookies or something? It did save it.

Even if I set it to 4 Scions it still only allows me 2.

Sorry to beat this to death, I just haven't played in forever.

So the second most expensive layout of death knights shows a 2x2 setup. Is this not 4 figures, which is from what I understand, the amount of figures you get in the pack? Because that's all I'm able to add with one death knights expansion in my collection.

I'm guessing I'm just missing something, so sorry for being a dummy, just want to make sure I get it right.

It should work now, I'm just a dummy and had only associated those with the latari elves expansion and not the aymhelin scions pack.

There are two Death Knight figures per tray. See here:

rwm21_group_death-knights.png

2x2 is obviously 4 trays, which would be 8 figures.

They have the same figure-per-tray count as the Oathsworn Cavalry.

Hopefully that clears it up?

Wow that was fast!!

Awesome!

That did help, thanks. I've adjusted death knights and oathsworn cavalry. Let me know if you catch any others, thanks.

That's why I make the big bucks.

Updated some of the images that were kinda shoddy before, thanks to Shane (don't know his username here if he has one) for helping with that.

I haven't used the site, but by definition, cavalry are 2 figures per tray. So Flesh Rippers and Leonx Riders would also be the same as the Death Knights and Oathsworn.

Great site @werdnaegni This has become my preferred list builder. I did notice that, since the overhaul, the Champion upgrade "Artifact Bearer" does not add an Artifact upgrade slot when selected in a Spearmen, Heavy Crossbow, or Outland Scouts unit. I poked around and it looks like the Waiqar Fallen Hero adds the Artifact slot just fine. So it seems to be limited to the Artifact Bearer.

Thank you for all the hard work you put into this site. It is a great resource for the community.

Whoops. Should be fixed now.
