Facing off against Rey and Poe

By Shadow345, in Star Wars: Destiny

Elite Rey and Poe from The Two-Player Game.

Who do you kill first?

What are the most dangerous plays that you should try and counter?

Heh eternal question who do you kill in this matchup....the answer is: whoever you can. I found that after first ticks of damage even switching targets is somehow viable in this matchup if opponent starts stacking upgrades on another hero and shields on the one you ticked.

Dangerous plays? Never forget about 3po - i lost a game due to forgetting that he can 3po Poe blaster to special and kill one of my guys.

Generally Poe. It might feel bad to take Rey’s damage until Poe is gone, but a late-game Poe poses a much bigger threat than a late-game Rey.

Rey just pokes you for the most part, Poe can not only mess with your dice and prevent a kill but he can also pull a ton of damage out of his *** real quick with his blaster.

Yep, I agree that it's Poe the must go first. C3-PO allows Poe's special every time.

only game I've lost with my weird, budget Rey-Poe was against ******* mill

every other game, the opponent went for Rey

generally, I subscribe to the double-blanks-gaming school of thought. If you go for Poe, you'll have to deal with a roided out Rey. But a roided out Rey, relatively speaking, isn't that scary

A roided out rey still has to actually roll decently, she more than likely has no control over her dice other than C3PO'ing one of her only good die rolls to a Focus to force the bad ones.
Poe late game doesnt care, especially if C3PO and his blaster are in play. Practically whatever he rolls he can force to work, and while the cap of his threat isnt as high as a roided out rey its still pretty dang high and its almost guaranteed.

Aye, Poe's Blaster Poe wins games by himself

It's even worse when the opponent manages to redeploy lightsabers off of Rey
