I have to say @CyborgNinja gave me a set of the sparkling die because he had already won a set. That was probably the nicest Armada related gift I've received. You know, other than my one lifetime regional win.

Inspiration. We don't really gift ships since most of our players don't need extras of them. My local group really does their best to support me and are very passionate about the game. They inspire me to commit time and effort to events and projects like my Acrylic Ship Tokens or Squadron Command Plates. They are good people.

I suppose the best thing I ever gave for Armada was a custom starter box for my friend's wife. She wanted to play, but wanted nothing to do with the rebels. She also couldn't afford the core box at $80-$90. So I took to the internet collecting individual pieces from people. I got everything she needed for the core for under $30 and gifted it to her. She's now a regular player who flies a mean ISD demo combo.

Best gift? Well, if the hints are true, I'm getting custom built dice tray this year with a TIE Defender wood burned into the bottom of it. I rarely get gaming gifts, so this is going to be awesome.

I got my 2nd Raider from one of my best friends last year and have been flying 2 Raiders pretty often since then.

Happy Holidays. Last year my buddy Chris bought me literally my entire Wave 5 preorder + CC. Plus Q got me a custom painted Biggs X-Wing Squadron (and an Ice Qube squadron.)

Both were pretty awesome.
