Hmmm... coming this party a tad late, but here goes:

I'm signing up for the tournament!
My local time is GMT (UK Based)
I'm usually available to play pretty much any time day or night during the week - being self (well, at the moment more un-) employed has it's perks! - though weekends are more of a challenge.
Here is a list of players that have signed up that I play regularly, please do not put me in a pod with them: None!
I am not pre-qualified...

I for one, can't wait to see the lists everybody submits. Does anyone care to make some predictions?

I predict: 1)No peltas will appear. 2) Most Mc80s will lose 5 pounds and become the mc75, in those type of lists. 3) The Interdictor will be hanging out with the Pelta, collecting dust.

I see your estimates and add my own:

1. The up-armed version of each flotilla will appear but at a rate of no better than 1 to 3 to the other version.

2. Tourney wide squad counts will be averaging 80-100 points but with a very high standard deviation with very few between 40-65 points.

3. Large ships will be in 30-50% of fleets.

4. There won't be an untitled H1MC80, and they will outnumber Liberties 2:1 minimum.

5. The Admirals that won't appear are the following: Tagge, Tarkin, Cracken, and maybe Sato.

6. Avenger will outnumber all other ISD titles combined 3:1, but only 2/3 of those will have Boarding Troopers.

I reserve the right to change my predictions if FFG spoils more toys.

I'd agree with this but put Screed in the no-show list rather than Sato. The MC75 is too tempting with the dual ordinance slots, but you won't see Sato without a MC75.

I am from Indiana and have played some of the people around my area if I had to guess. Unsure who that might be here though.

I can’t answer specifically for Biggsy, as he is top boss, but I don’t feel it is. Not as of yet.

A statement on their permanency is required, first.

And since he can't tell, we're back to square 1 where we don't know how it works until FFG tells us. Which is starting to look less likely before release now.

There are still around 8-10 weeks, with so many articles recently, I doubt they won’t cover raid rules before release. My bet is that they’ll come in an article for raid and Gar Saxon will be spoiled there with double black battery and bomber at 27 points (please FFG!)

It is not, unfortunately.

Friday is the cutoff.

Friday is in fact the cutoff for new stuff.

At the moment, with Raid Tokens not being fully spoiled (full explanation of their rules) we cannot consider Raid based cards to be "fully spoiled" and thus are ineligible for the tournament.

I think that would be a bit unfair on people whose builds would be different to deal with raid but couldn’t because it wasn’t disclosed when fleets were made. I think if the gauntlet is allowed, it should have a temporary errata on the tournament about removing assault until the tournament ends

They are not fully spoiled, and I will not be writing rules for the purpose of the tournament ?

On one hand I would love to allow this because more options = better. But....

On the other hand, because we don't actually have official rules, players who are also playtesters will be at an advantage because they know what the rules are and thus know whether or not Raid is worth the investment for their lists, while other players will only be able to guess. In the interest of keeping the playing field as fair as possible, until we have official rules spoiled, Raid cards are not allowed.
