As mentioned by everybody else, as much as I would LOVE to play with all the new stuff. I've been practicing this list for over a month with 2-3 games a week to prep for this tournament.
Not that I don't mind the ensuring chaos from everybody from the fleet lists we would see, but also it would extend the tournament. For me personally, I get less free time as we get closer to spring while right now I have enough to allow me to play with flexibility.
Kudos to you Biggs for asking the community's thoughts.

I actually thought it would be better to keep current standings, but allow fleet changes. But if nothing else. I'd love for a period for fleet changes for the elim rounds.

Hi Biggs, whats the format? I take it anyone can join, will you decide when you have final numbers? Potentially pods, or elimination, or a single big Swiss group?

##holdthecourse but I'm all for allowing limited fleet changes when we go to eliminations. Maybe you can't switch faction or limit the amount of changes you can do?

And if we do hold the course I strongly recommend not to work with minor changes. In my eyes this disadvantages MSU players (namely me 
). With minor changes I cannot accommodate my fleet to the new wave. And I really don't want my HHs to run into a Bail ship that activates first, does not take any ramming damage because of its hardened bulkheads and even takes less damage from my hammerheads because of its early warning systems. For fairness sake, if we hold the course, no changes at all.

Yes, some lists would now be obsolete and require major changes to function in the new meta, while others may be able to get by on small changes that simply increase their effectiveness.
