No shame in losing to that crowd! Would love to get you to talk into my Macbook for a few minutes next time you host a local event and add a bit of commentary. Both local boy logfiles I recorded illustrate some good stuff to learn from, Karneck's game shows the scary potential of the MC75 and some clever deployment work, and yours shows importance of activation order and the back-and-forth drama of the squadron battle.

I'd be happy to.

As was asked, an update to the FAQ Document applicable for the World Cup:

---

Aspiration:

Projection Experts may be used to transfer shields from a ship to Aspiration even if it has hull zones above the maximum shield rating. However, you cannot move shields to any hull zones above their maximum value.

Shields To Maximum states recover shields, so it does not trigger in the case of Aspiration being active.

---

Strategic Advisor:

A Player may elect to use (and thus exhaust) Strategic Advisor to pass his turn, even if the Large Ship the Upgrade is equpped to has already activated this turn.

---

Profundity:

"IF POSSIBLE" means that all fleet building restrictions must be applied. This means that a Strategic Advisor (Large Ship Only) cannot be moved to a Corvette if it is released, even if the officer slot is open, as it is not possible to equip a large Ship Only officer to a a small ship.

---

Ordnance Pods:

"Attack" in the instance of Ordnance pods is intended to be a Full Attack Step, ie, Attack EVERY SQUADRON in Range. This is because the wording is different to the Raider Title, which specifies to attack a Single Squadron.

---

Taskmaster Grint and Grand Admiral Thrawn:

Taskmaster Grint *cannot* be used on the Dial generated by Grand Admiral Thrawn, as that dial is not revealed in the conventional means.

---

Bail Organa and Admiral Raddus (Or Hyperspace Assault):

If Bail Organa is placed off the board due to Admiral Raddus, then he is "out of play" at the time you would be putting a round token on him, and thus, Bail Organa DOES NOT TRIGGER AND HAS NO EFFECT.

---

Raddus (Again, this time, with Objectives):

The following Objectives have interactions (or not) with Raddus:

Advanced Gunnery
- Set aside ship cannot be targeted as an objective ship. (Due to timing)

Blockade Run
- CUP RULING: Assign Objective Tokens before deploying fleets. This would allow the Raddus player to basically "Freewheel" into the end Zone with say, Raddus, Profundity and a Small Ship... However, the onus is on 1st player to stop Raddus from triggering - or simply not choosing such an obvious objective.

Hyperspace Assault
- As both Raddus and the objective have a timing of “Before deploying fleets”, the controlling player decides in which order they are set aside. It is possible to place a small ship in Profundity and then the Profundity into Raddus and then the Raddus ship into Hyperspace Assault... But as per standard FAQ, the game is lost if no ship is deployed.

Intel Sweep
- The Raddus ship may be an objective ship.

Most Wanted
- Set aside ship cannot be targeted as an objective ship. (Due to timing)

Opening Salvo
- Set aside ship cannot gain an objective token (Due to timing) and thus does not gain extra dice during its first attack, but is still subject to the End of Game rules.

Precision Strike
- Set aside ship cannot gain a Concentrate Fire Token, but is subject to the Special Rule once it enters the play area.

Salvage Run
- The set aside ship cannot gain a Navigate token.

I believe that is everything. But in the meantime, if there are any further pertinent questions, please inbox me . I'll get the message in minutes and get back to you...

Did everyone stop playing?

Are remaining games scheduled?

Are we to wait for the end of the POD phase before we play elimination matches?

Currently waiting to hear back about my last opponents availability. I gather his wife got back into town this week, so he's understandably busy. Making up for my desire to squash things with Sloane by messing around with a weird Motti Interdictor/Kuat monstrosity.

Yes, please.

Edit: At least wait until it is pretty close. I don't want to have things get crazy out of order.

NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWW

Who's idea was Thrawn? A hard counter to Konstantine like he needed it.... I just want to know who to blame for this....

@comatose as I are scheduled to have our game this Tuesday

Well does it really take much to counter fleets you come up with? :P

Konstantine doesn't need a counter. The very nature of the game, in that everyone should be using Navigates as a default order, is a hard counter to Konstantine.

The very existence of other Commanders is a hard counter to Konstantine.

Sato had a navigate command ready.

(Each ship takes one facedown damage card)

EXACTLY. So why did JJ do it!

@CaribbeanNinja and @thecactusman17 are you waiting until the very last day to play your 3 games!? Part of some Illuminati plot?

I'm hoping to get my games in very soon, I just had a bad week for gaming in general during "normal" human hours.

I may not have any WC games in...

But there has been an awakening.

Have you felt it?

Posting my list for the Fleet Patrol tournament since it hasn't been uploaded to the list breakdown yet:

Execute Order 366 366/400

@thecactusman17 I absolutely love the fact that it's 2018 and you're still confidently throwing so many points at a bid.

Fly well, fly low :D

The bid is just a byproduct of the philosophy of list design: find what it is you want to accomplish and dedicate everything in the list to that singular goal, them erase everything that might interfere with that goal.

I'm my lists I typically want to:

1: Entirely control the tempo and spacing of the engagement at all times

2: Force my opponent to react to my game, instead of the opposite

3: Know in advance what all of my units should do for the best result regardless of the enemy's response.
