A quick look at the PODs here on Friday, with games having been played for 3 days now:

POD#1 - Not much happening so far, with Broba winning a close game against Mood.

POD#2 - A hilarious upset, with Karneck solidly beating JJs. But otherwise not much.

POD#3 - Slow start, with no games played as of yet.

POD#4 - Roquax in a good position with 15 points after 2 games played, only comatose with a win at 7 points and 1 game played. Thrindal needs a big win to stay in contention. BMcDonald still very much in it though.

POD#5 - Lots of action, with everyone still needing to play Dr. Alex. Aresius is leading at the moment with 16 points and 2 wins, with both Darth Veggie and RearAdmirals trailing but roughly equal, at 8 and 9 points respectively.

POD#6 - One game played by each player, with Tokra and Ghost leading the pack at 9 and 8 points respectively.

POD#7 - Only one game played, but it is a blowout by Captain Weather against Admiral Theia.

POD#8 - Green Knight clinches first place with all 3 games played. IrishMadCat and Podracer each have 2 games played, with a game each to play against rasproteus. Still anyone's game for second place, though Irish with 2 games left to play, rasproteus controls his destiny.

For Pod 1, I think a lot of our games are happening later in the evening tonight and tomorrow. I can only play 8am-5pm and then again after 9-10pm pacific which throws a huge wrench when trying to schedule with CST players who can't free up time during the day. Might have to string games out an hour at a time over a couple nights so no one is playing super exhausted.

Sadly not. I have played two games. Lord Preyer none.

I don't know what anyone else is doing, but I created a Discord server for my pod, so we could talk through the games. Anyone else? I say that because it looks like Broba and Rikash are just typing (unless they're trying to keep it in the log, I guess, as I'm still new to Vassal).

There's an Armada discord we could use, in theory, but I'm hard of hearing and that makes it tricky.

There are some chat channels and some audio channels for vassal play.

By old habit* I mostly just write in the vassal chat. But discord voice is a good option.

* When you've played x number of games most things are handled by auto-reports or mutual understanding of the game, so writing is at a minimum.

If you dont have to explain why you are rerolling etc then its easy to do. No need to declare OE everytime you reroll black dice for instance...

@BiggsIRL Are fleet patrol entries now closed? Thanks to not reading the rules questions, made a monumental ****-up of my cunningly planned fleet - re Raddus/Bail-related not playing nicely together - and was hoping to tweak...

Howevs, if not then understand entirely... and will work out what to do with the awesome might of a Raddus'd in Quantum Storm (Fear my nippy hyperspace road-blocker)!

So, the "POD Previews" went 8, then 1, then 2. So that means either 3 or 7 is next! Or maybe 4 or 5, just so @BiggsIRL can mess with those of us who like to see patterns.
