So AP coordinates a rage onto Norra, who then takes a green maneuver and removes both stress with the inspiring recruit. At which point she boosts or barrel rolls to get in range of a shot and takes a target lock. You should now be throwing a fully modified 5 die attack out the front every shot. The flight assist drastically helps her get shots on higher PS who might just be out of range or helps in ships that are just out of arc because Norra was forced to take a green. It is one of the reasons I am considering dropping pulse ray just to have a 4 point bid to make sure I can catch onto Dash with at least 2 shots. Not only that but this Poe is a beast who has perfect knowledge of the board to know when to boost or target lock. This list is a lot of fun. Your opponent has to go after Norra first because you can't leave her to do her thing all game and that leaves Poe to the late game where he is untouchable.

Tip: Include squad point values in any list you post.

Norra will stop working as designed if AP-5 dies. You basically made a 50+ point Norra. Maybe you enjoy it, but it isn’t very efficient. Taking AP-5 off the board in 1 round would be pretty simple for a lot of lists, leaving you with a weak Norra. Then the target priority gets easier. Kill Norra with less offensive pressure coming back. Many lists won’t need to even shoot your Poe, because there is a clear path to an MoV victory. You basically need to cripple your opponent before AP-5 dies. I’ll take those odds with almost any list I play.

I'm with @jmswood that the synergy is pretty fragile. If Norra moves out of AP-5's range for Inspiring Recruit, or AP-5 dies, Rage Norra works poorly.

A similar ship which might work well is Rage on Wullffwarro, since he can carry both Finn and Inspiring Recruit on his own. AP-5 can coordinate a Reinforce, making him quite tanky. Keeping AP-5 far enough back might be a challenge, but at least the build doesn't fall apart if the one other ship dies. It costs a point more, but adds redundancy. I've flown against Rage/Recruit Wookiees. They really show the truth to the old adage "it's not wise to upset a wookiee."

I'd probably dump Poe altogether and put Ap-5 on the Ghost. Let both the Ghost and AP-5 carry Inspiring Recruit. That will keep Norra rolling offensively throughout the whole game. Use your free coordinate to TL or barrel roll. Not sure I would use this list necessarily, but I think this is a more vible way to accomplish what you want with Norra based on your initial build.

There has to be synergy in order for synergy to be fragile. This build is support dependence, not synergy. Norra/Rage/Finn doesn’t function without a second ship to clear stress and provide free actions. Synergy happens when components work together without the need for a catalyst.

Butterfly Norra has self-contained synergy. PtL, BB-8, Kyle Katarn and 6 green moves on the dial combine to make one of the most action efficient ships in the game.

Throw in a ship with M9-G8 (Jess) to give Norra rerolls. Give her a reroll so she can save her Target Lock for her ability. That’s synergy with a support ship, without the dependence. Butterfly Norra doesn’t fail just because the M9-G8 carrier died.
