Yes it is. On the Decimator it's statistically better to use a focus action rather than an additional red die but there are builds that use expose very effectively.

Thanks Stone! And what happens with the agility? I mean... It's appears to me to rather odd because how'd you go beneath zero with the die?

This game treats zero as a floor. You can't get less than zero anything in this game, as far as I can remember.

You don't (can't) go into negative agility. Also extra green dice you get for range and obstructed attacks don't count as "Agility" dice. For instance, let's say your Decimator has the crit that reduces your agility by one after you have used Expose. When attacked, your agility is still "zero". However, if the attack was at range 3 and obstructed you'd still roll 2 green dice.

All modifications to agility accumulate until the end and then it caps out at a minimum of 0. If you get any extra dice such as from Range 3 or from an obstructed attack, those will still be applied no matter what your agility is.

So if Wedge is shooting at an Exposed Decimator through a rock, the Decimator will roll 1 green die since the agility is 0 - 1 - 1 = -2 and you cap it at 0, then the asteroid adds a green die.

If ship with 0 agility uses Expose and then something (like R2-F2) increases that ships agility by 1, it will still have an agility of 0 since it only caps it at zero after all of the modifications are complete.

Ok... My mistake, evidently was to assume that for getting exposed you have to decrease your agility by one as part of the card mechanic, since zero's floor I thought you couldn't make it work because you aren't, in fact, decreasing it nothing, as theBitterFIg's saying "zero's floor"... But well. I understand the part of getting the green dice bonus because they're granted as something different than the agility stat... Not was so obvious to me the interpretation of zero as a number that could be decreased but that isn't decreased.

Thank's guys!
