Hutt Brute Squad - for Objective games

By heychadwick, in X-Wing Squad Lists

This is for that objective based format that people brought up. It really changes the way you can play the game. Here's a list that I think will do pretty well, but I haven't tried it.

I have a high PS (10) Kimogila that punishes people being in their firing arc. With objectives other people might not have tokens on them, so they might have to take damage instead of discarding tokens. That's all good as this ship is meant to put the pounding on whatever it shoots at. Inertial Dampners to mess with people and stick in a good spot.

The Khiraxz Fighters are underappreciated in my book, especially with the Objectives. They have a 1 hard turn that can be quite effective when placement is a big deal. One cheap one is there to get out there fast and get to where I need to quickly and force the opponent to react. The other two have Fearlessness to punish anyone I am able to get in R1 of, especially with that 1 hard turn. The Black Market Slicer took can try to hurt anyone that gets stressed around them...it is free with the title. The Pulse Ray shield can help keep them alive longer and might also help them position as they don't have the 1 forward. Yes, you can only do it when damaged, but it will probably happen.

Lots of missions really force the jousting and I feel like this list can joust pretty well, especially if gotten in Range 1. The ace Kimogila will force token removal of anyone that has tokens and the 3 attack die (or 4 +1 hit) at R1 can be really brutal. If I need to joust, I can put a ton of hurt in a short amount of time, but I can also split up my forces to go after objectives if I need to.

It's thematic and it feels effective (not tried it yet).

Thoughts?
