thwre is still some time till release but im already thinking about the color scheme for my stormtroopers and other imperial units. Im considering clone trooper markings on their armor but im not completly convinced about it. The 501 st color scheme is the mist apeeling for.me right now but im not sure if i want to change that ,,canon" white armor. What do you think?

Personally I am going for all white Stormtroopers. I will do the fun experiments with my rebels. However you could do some really cool color schemes. Just remember that a little can go a long way, especially against a stark white background.
I'm gonna go with the classic white, at least for the core set. If I add more units down the line I might change it up. Though I will likely just do a weathered and gritty squad and then a polished glossy white on others. I still don't care for colored stormtroopers.
Coruscant
I do like the red, but 501st being led around by Vader would be pretty sweet.
I don't follow the Legion forum, but does anybody have plans to paint up Death Troopers?
....stormies.....!.....
I’m going to do them white but with different coloured shoulders to differentiate the squads
Classic white, with some subtle variations to the specialty troopers (shoulders and what not).
I'll draw heavily from Battlefront II.
Bright pink Imperial army all the way.

Just like the game seems to be doing
Classic white for me, with different shoulder pad for the Sgt.
Additionally I'll paint a ring around the base to differentiate the squads.
I actually picked up a pack of Imperial Assault Stormtroopers today - I've never painted a mini before, and I don't want my first ones to be the pieces I'm going to play with. I'm gonna try to paint them in January when I pick up some paints and brushes.

This, the shoulder pads are easy enough to paint different colors.

in this case basic white is your friend. you just use white spray can, then paing all deatils GREY and then you wash (thinned paint that flows into all thise little gabs on the armor) over it with dark tone. then you just need white pain to bright all armor parts up.
as for my army i think i will go for the 501 clone legion colour scheme for regular stormtroopers, and my snowtroopers will be painted like the clone ones exept i will go for 501st blue instead of red.
You could paint the Stormtrooper with the Rocket Launcher to be a shock trooper for some variety.
Other than that, sniper troopers (stormies with snipers, not scouts) had blue pauldrons and commanders had orange. Since pauldrons aren't really on the regular stormtroopers, you could just use the shoulder plate instead.
The new snowtrooper with a flamethrower could be painted as an imperial Flametrooper (top of helmet, shoulder pads and lower legs being dark red).
Gonna go white, but going to do some color somewhere to separate my army from others. My group does lots of mini tournaments and inevitably we will have Imperial vs Imperial matches.
I love the dark grey and black lines on the FO Tank troopers and could see myself doing something like that on my whole army.
I think Ill be starting with 3 units of Stormtroopers when the game launches. I'm big into my entire army having a cohesive look, but each unit having their own motif. My Alpha Squad will have these markings, but in red.
My Bravo Squad will be traditional white, with the unit leader having a red pauldron.
Charlie Squad will be closer to Shock Troopers.
And Delta Squad will be my Snowtroopers, painted like Galactic Marines.
also ive found another inspirations. Feel free to use it Now im just wondering if i should go with same scheme for entire squad or if i should paint each trooper differently
