Good afternoon X-wing Players!

In light of the heightened interest in Adepticon System Open and with Regionals starting early, your Des Moines Area X-wing crew is planning a special two-part series to give you extra practice for higher-tier tournaments. In the heart of the season, we’re planning two separate tournaments using the updated rules and standards present in Fantasy Flight Games Tournament Regulations for “Formal” events. The intent of these events is to help you hone your competitive edge, try out tournament tier lists, and practice the higher play expectations of Regional/System Open.

Introducing, the “Alley to Adepticon Series” – two 100 point tournaments using the “Formal” event rules and Swiss structure as outlined by Fantasy Flight Games . Part One is schedule for Saturday 1/20 with Part Two taking place on Saturday 2/17.

First tournament in the two-part series is taking place this weekend and we've officially announced the Confirmed Kills side event, which tracks Confirmed Kills over the course of the event and generates additional prizes and awards for players based on their kills.
