8 health and 3 attack with linked battery isn't rubbish, even today. I do not fly Rebels often, but the last time I did I played Nera Dantels, which was a lot of fun and worked quite well.

There is very little stopping you from picking your favourite B-Wing pilot, kit it out the way you want, and complete the list from there. Not every B-Wing list needs to have 4. The frame is quite decent at hammer-and- anvil tactics.

This guy gets it, they're still fun and quite effective in a squad on pint nights.

When you feel bad for the B-Wing, don't. It had a heyday at the very top of the game and it's still solid. If you want to derive pity, look at the Punisher.

I'm still like Nera Dantes. With Lowrhick as wingman for sure.

now... what if you could use a B-Wing to throw a Proton Bomb at someone, give them the face up damage card and sabine, then target lock them and shove a torpedo down their throat? Oh, and do this at PS10. You may even be able to throw a bomblet at them and harpoon them too....

I love the B-Wing, it does need some tweaking though. At the moment, if I flew a B-Wing only Squad I'd probably fly this:

This uses the ability to add crew so that we can have some fun, Ten Numb & Hotshot Co-pilot strips focus, Jan Ors lets the B-Wing take an evade for that extra bit of "AAAAAHHHHH Please don't kill me yet" and Jyn Erso dishes out those focus tokens.

I really like these pilots, the upgrades would really help combat this meta too.
