That pink is a far different hue (much more purple from my monitor) from the work in progress photos you shared on Facebook. Is that all do to a wash or is that a new color over the rather "hot pink" it began as?

You're right, and I realized my mistake when I made the video and re-shot the pictures too. I was using the wrong color lighting and it muted out the color! Here's a much better representation of the color.

TLDR: Photography is hard

Don't forget to white balance your camera. Most if not all cameras can do this with a 'built in' setting. But often it's better to do a manual white balance. Use something white and nice and clean, aim the camera at it and set the white balance. Hopefully then you'll get better colours.

Have to agree, I was able to set down a nice smooth Yellow in 2 coats on gray plastic, vs 4 coats of Citadel.
