V-4XD Ski Speeder

By chemnitz, in Star Wars: Legion

I wonder if we will see the V-4XD ski speeder (i.e. the speeders from Crait in Episode VIII) as a not-too-distant release for the Rebels. They have established that these were leftover tech from the Galactic Civil War, so it would make sense for the OT Rebels to have access to them. In game terms, they would be a heavy unit (or maybe even support unit) that is cheaper/weaker than the T-47 Airspeeder. It would probably only have Speeder 1, and there may be a special rule for the mono-ski (perhaps: can only ignore terrain at height 1 if going in a straight line).

What would you think of the V-4XD in Legion?

It's basically an armored speeder bike. I like the Crait Fluff and wouldn't say no...

Yuck, Salty

The ones we see in the movie are supposed to be striped down to their barest components so I'm curious how they look new. It might be a cooler design worth exploring (I'm imagining a land smaller b-wing with rebelish paint scheme).

I hope they make it into the game, since it's the only rebel ground vehicle from the movies.

I hope so.

I don't actually like them, but they are now in a film as era appropriate tech so would deserve a spot in the game in my eyes. My only concern is that they seem overly specialised to flat plains.

@Sk3tch Well, they were developed for asteroids (why they have wings is an interesting question indeed), so they are clearly designed for rougher terrain than plains. Most asteroids are hardly flat. They have not enough mass to be flattened by gravity and erosion isn't really a thing in space.

They could be interesting. We don't have a whole lot of options when it comes to rebels so I guess we take what we can get.
