If you have a membership card they take off an extra 10%, and they often have deals that take off more.
I bought another Core set for $40 this past weekend

This turns out to be true at several stores near me as well. I did hear a piece on NPR recently about how they're reducing their floor space as leases expire and one of the ways they're doing this is dialing back on toys and games, this seems like it might be the start of that.
I was able to pick up two rogues and villains for less than $16 Sunday. Nothing else was on sale. I may have to take another look

I picked up 3 MC30's to add to my one in order to run a joke sato list, the only AF II I could find at the 3 stores i went to, and 5 Rogues and Villains packs. I'm sorry to all of the people in the STL area for buying so much but it was SOOOOO cheap, thank you B&N for losing money to help me further my fleets.
I also convinced 2 people to start playing because they were able to find those starter sets for so cheap. Seriously if FFG would make a 40/50 dollar starter kit with a vic / neb&cr90 with their associated fighters this game would sell so much better. Please FFG, try to make your game sell.

Yeah, I grabbed another Rogues $10, an MC30c I think it's called (didn’t have one) at $15, and an ISD as a possible hook to get someone else in the game at $25....they have more. Temptations......

2 of the 3 stores i visited didn't have most of it marked, have a worker price check it for you if they have anything armada in stock.
As if I need any more ships, but I'll probably swing by after work and check out what they have available.
I'm sure this is b/c Armada is not selling as quickly as they'd like. Plus for the same amount of shelf space they can display four times as much x-wing merch as they can Armada.
They cleaned out the stores here about 2 weeks ago. It is only Wave 1 and 2 stuff, they have had it sitting around forever. I got an extra ISD to convert using Mel's conversion kit.
I went back as my local B&N had a 20% off one item on top of sales price and....I grabbed an Assault Frigate Mk II (though I never really wanted one of those, what I deem, ugly balls) and another Home One Expansion at $16 each pre-tax. I'm sure they'll come in handy sometime as gifts or something......something, sometime. At worse, they are well made plastic spaceships huh?

I talked to a sales associates at Barnes & Noble. They are cutting back on inventory but it's NOT a blanket 50% off everything for Armada or X-wing, so what gets marked can vary store by store.
Of my two "local" B&Ns, the only things that were 50% were some Vics, which I bought out. They had a few other Armada kits (AF II, Raider, Heros & Villains) that were all still full price and NONE of the X-wing stuff was on sale.
