Corran double tap with FCS and this would... youch.
Poe would love to be able to get a free focus action at PS9.
Any munitions ship that suddenly had the ability to fire a fully modified missile or torpedo...
Gets scary quick. Might help A wings, especially Jake? With PTL he'd basically get 4 actions in a turn. Boost in activation, free focus in combat which gives him a free BR, PTL a target lock or evade. 4 actions in one turn with 3 of them in the combat phase for the price of one stress....
I've been running PTL on Kenkirk w/ Isard and engine upgrade. It's lol effective sometimes.
You are still not allowed to take 2 of the same action. I am not sure it would have anything over expertise.
A-Wings plus Intensity or Juke would like this depending on the price.

Well, for Corran it's once per round, and Poe already has Advanced Optics.
With it being an EPT there's a big requirement and opportunity cost. Munitions ships that would have access to this also have access to Expertise - which is 4 points. It's pretty easy for munitions ships to get full mods, this only offers another way to get that.

Both Expertise and this get shut off by stress, but this has the advantage that if you are high PS and don't use the token you can use it on defense.
It's like PTL in a way, only you get no stress and the timing in which you get the focus token is really important.

Ha, it would be so fun for Jake. Grab that focus then free boost to range one for the shot. I have no problem with helping A-Wings!

Nah I think a Vessery like action would be better.
After performing an attack if the defender has a focus token gain a focus token.
It would be like hotshot co-pilot but good. I can see it forcing a lot of spend to modify 0 dice just to prevent you from receiving a free one and if they are a token bank like Moldy Crow or Poe Dameron then hey I am getting a free focus token thanks pal, since you can only spend 1 focus token per trigger.

That sounds awesome too!
I think having this as an EPT is so super important. High PS ships would want this, but you can't have this AND VI at the same time.
