oh, that would be OP. Fixed it to say "You may not attack more than twice per round"

I actually use RLBs with my BTA. It's been very successful.
For the Resurgent I say:
Command Cruiser:
13 hull, 5 cmd, 5 FGH, 5 ENG
Front: 6 shields, 5 red, 4 blue
Side: 3 shields, 3 red, 2 blue
Rear: 3 shields, 2 red, 1 blue
Officer, Gunner, Offensive, Defensive, Ion, Turbos

Battlecruiser:
13 hull, 4 cmd, 2 FGH, 5 ENG
Front: 6 shields, 4 red, 3 blue, 3 black
Side: 3 shields, 2 red, 1 blue, 2 black
rear: 3 shields, 2 red, 1 blue, 2 black

My thinking was that the longer range die would be good for ranging shots to help with targeting.
As far as big hits... the shots are loaded with more gas, and enveloped in a stronger energy field to maintain cohesion over a longer distance, therefore when they do hit, they tend to hit hard.
On the other hand I’m completely open to suggestions.

If the idea is to base it off of those long range shots Snoke's ship was throwing at the transports, I'd maybe say yeah. Give it an acc+hit+crit on two faces, acc+cit on two, two hits, and two blanks. No need to go twelve sided, but maybe make the die a bit bigger, to really differentiate it.

The rules are s little silently dubious on acc+ results.
in one interpretation , to spend The acc is to spend the die, dismissing all additional symbols...
... of course, that could be the point.. you get an acc or 2 damage... your call...
that could be an interesting concept, after all... having absolutely crap faces for the majority, and your choice of gold on a select few...

Ranging Shots
ORetro
When you activate, you may discard this card to skip your attack phase. If you do, choose an enemy ship beyond distance 5 from you. The next time you attack this ship, add 1 red acc. to the attack pool.

Complete with flight commander? What do you have in the hangar? Tie bombers or firesprays?

That would be great with Armada, and since we saw long range engagements here, it would be a great time to introduce them.
Extended Range die - Green - 12 sided
Blank/Blank/Blank/accuracy/accuracy/accuracy/1 hit/1 hit/2 hits/2 hits/1 hit+crit/1 hit+Crit
Maximum Range die - Gold -
Blank/Blank/Blank/Blank/accuracy/accuracy/accuracy/accuracy/2 hits/2 hits/2 hits+crit/2 hits+crit
FFG gave you the option to “eat to see epic play”?
I’m jealous. I was about to eat just for survival
Yeah, but don’t ask me what I had to eat though.

They're clearly based on the WWII Flying Fortresses. Flew pretty much exactly like them, vulnerabilities and all.

MC85 Title Upgrade
The Raddus

I’d say B-29 Superfortresses. But they didn’t have automated turrets, so maybe more like B-17 Flying Fortresses, but that design clearly inspired the Ghost...
Whatever. I get it.
Title: Raddus - Beginning on the 2nd turn, when you reveal a command dial you may remove two shields from one hull zone to add one shield to another. The target hull zone may not have more than six shields, but may have more than its starting number.

What about a "special accuracy" that if rolled, can be banked to use for a later shot?
Why do you have the MC85 so absurdly undergunned Grand Admiral Crunch? There's no way it has so few weapons. It would literally be outgunned by the MC80 and basically outgunned by two of the Nebulon-C Medical conversions which are hospital ships each less then 20 percent the size of an MC85.

Special faces would be cool, and would have my full support

Don’t blame me... those are the canon stats provided in the Incredible Cross Sections.

I think someone forgot some 0s when they were typing in the number of weapons.

I would hope at least two 0’s per weapon type.
Yeah that would fit their role in comparison to their TFO counterparts much better
This could also be a special case where the Raddus specifically is undergunned compared to other MC85’s. She was modified to run with a skeleton crew. Maybe those are the only guns that ship could operate in its reduced state.
Edited by GrandAdmiralCrunch3 minutes ago, GrandAdmiralCrunch said:I would hope at least two 0’s per weapon type.
If we assume an average diameter of 1/8th her length (since it grows and shrinks), that would mean one weapon emplacement for every 881m^2 of surface area on the ship (assuming 5400 weapons, which would be what adding two 0's would make for). I'm not sure if I think that is too many, or too few.
Spoiler, so skip post if you don't want that.
I guess the MC85 comes with a Hyperdrive Collision upgrade that makes you spend an activation where it stays where it is and at the beginning of the next round it destroyed every ship, obstacle, and squadron in a straight line from its base to the edge of the map and is then considered destroyed for scoring?
