I am just getting into Armada (casual at home play). I like the description of the Base defense objectives in the Corellian Conflict, but am not planning to do the campaign. Can you just use these objectives in the same way as the ones that came in the core set, or are they balanced specifically for the campaign? Do you have to account for any special calculations inherent in the campaign to play separately? In my head, I imagine the campaign like the Imperial Assault campaign where you have to account for a missions threat level and player experience if you want to play a mission outside the campaign.
Corellian Conflict Objectives as stand-alone matches

They are balanced specifically for the campaign.
Effectively, first player is specifically given 2nd player s choice of those, with bigger repercussions if 1st player wins. And 1st player is determined before lists and anything and is irrelevant to point bid.
Becsause of that, they give a bigger boost to player 2.
Asteroids, Indeoendsnt Station and Nebula Outskirts are “more” balanced to regular play, as they take the place of regular objectives in choices, but again, the core mechanic of CC is 1st Player is determined pre battle, with bids being irrelevant as lists are predetermined .

Thanks. That is helpful.
There are a few of the green (campaign) Corellian Conflict objectives that have similar scenario objectives that are balanced to play as a normal match.
Show of Force (green) is a similar scenario to Station Assault (red).
Hyperlane Assault (green) is a similar scenario to Blockade Run (red).
Base Defense: Ion Cannon (green) is like Planetary Ion Cannon (yellow).
(Edit: thanks Ardaedhel, I fixed the name. I was looking right at the card and still posted it wrong.)
Edited by kcrandall15corrected card name to "Planetary Ion Defense".
