Title ideas

So couple of rules:

1) Nothing off topic!

2) nothing nasty or thread lockable!

Rule for the thread:

A title for the title is not needed but would be nice.

A ability is needed (duh), if it doesnt quite fit with the rules still suggest it, it can always be rewritten to fit.

Rough point cost.

What ship/s it could be equipped to.

Ill start off.

Title: ?

Ship: Neb-B

Ability: equip 2 x Z-95 to this card, these squadrons do not count towards your squadron limit.

(Rapid lauch bays description here)

Cost: 10pts

Title: ?

Ship: AFMk2

Ability: when activating squadrons you may increase their speed by 1 to a max of 5.

Cost: 6pts

Oh and if you disagree with a persons ideas, fair enough. But do not pollute the topic with negatively.

Take it to another topic or PM or something else.

Constructive criticism is welcome however :)

Title: ?

Ship: CR90

Ability: after a ship has finished their attack step, before they move you may roll an attack against them following normal attack rules.

Then discard this card.

Cost: 6pts

Title: Praetor

Ship: ISD

Ability: Once per game, at any point during the turn, you may activate this ship even if it had already activated that turn. When it does, on the following turn this ship may not be the first activation unless it is the only ship left.

Cost: 15pts

Sounds very overpowered in my opinion so to clear things up..

Can it activate at literally Any time? For example:

ISD Praetor activates, shoots, etc.

ISD Praetor activates, shoots, etc. All over again?

I think that it would be better suited to a VSD, which while still dangerous, doesnt have quite the same potential.

Even for 15 points... i could also see it if it didnt have the "even if it had already activated that turn." Portion which overdoes it for me.

How do you see it working?

How about a generic title that costs 0-2 points but adds a support teams upgrade slot.

CR-90

Title 'Farstar' * cost 10 points

squadron increased to 2, gains offensive retrofit slot.

Raider

flotilla title 'Outer Rim Patrol Group' 3 to 5 points (possibly more)

ship looses the Ord upgrade for turbolaser upgrade

-with this I'm thinking a straight up slot swap, no dice changes

If your opponent fields a ISD and a Interdictor, immediately forfeit the game.

Ability: After revealing your command dial, spend a (ConFire) dial or token. You cannot make any attacks prior to navigating. After you have ended your maneuver, you may declare an anti-squadron attack from one hull zone of your choice against any squadrons within range. At the end of your activation, discard this card.

ISD Title, that lets you skip one activation.

I really like the idea of unique Titles that just let you switch the factions especially for Imperial ships making them Rebels. They could cost a few points and take up the title slot so you sort of have to pay the premium to switch teams.

The only time the Imperial Light Carrier shows up in cannon it is stolen by the rebels and spends more time as the rebel flag ship than it does on the imperial side.

I’ve toyed with running glads as carriers before with Tarkin and it’s super fun. Would be cool to be able to add EHB/boosteds

Gladiator SD tile:

Broadside cruiser variant

12pts, forward battery changed to red die, +1 red die, left/right battery -1 die each

-5 pts for Diamond Boron Missile upgrade

Diamond Boron Missiles upgrade

10pts, put two objects tokens on card, remove 1 token for each use, discard is no tokens remain

hits and crits cause damage to squadrons, ships only take damage on crits, no critical effect.

VSD Title: Iron Fist

During your activation, one of your attacks may target an Asteroid or Debris Field. On a [CRIT], all squads at distance one of that obstacle suffer 2 damage.

Cost: 3?

I don’t know how to cost this one. Potentially a screen buster if you fly into obstacles fields, but then you just flew a VSD at obstacles.

Profundity was really close to an idea I had, but my idea worked closer to RLB for a small sized ship rather than Hyperspace.
