Title ideas

Arquitens generic title: Task Force Jerjerrod

During the Determine Course step, you may choose and exhaust a copy of this card on another friendly ship at distance 1–3. If you do, change the first yaw value of your current speed to "II" until the end of your activation.

While this card is exhausted, you may not resolve [nav] commands.

No idea about points. 3–5? Could be just one yaw if it's too strong.

Ever wanted to Jerry but also Vader? Now you can! I'll admit it makes a bit less thematic sense than the Hammerhead ones though.

TF Kallus could let you do something funky with anti squadron fire, but I don't know what.

what about an add on to Redemption?

When you use an engineering command or token, you may spend one point up to your engineering value to repair one on near by squadrons up to your squadron value

Title: ?

Ship: Neb-B

Ability: equip 2 x Z-95 to this card, these squadrons do not count towards your squadron limit.

(Rapid lauch bays description here)

Cost: 10pts

Does this come with the Z-95 or does it allow you to buy two extra Z-95's? It sounds like it come with them so for ten points you get fourteen points of fighters (that do not count to you limit) and a free rapid launch bays (I do not know what it cost, do not ever use it and do not have stuff with me right now? That sounds like to high of a savings to me, but if it only allows you to buy or forces you to buy two extra Z-95's that sounds OK.

My idea is it comes with the 2 Z95s free.

Yes it does sound like it goves a lot free right?

It also takes the spot of yavaris. Thats the whole point of the title.

2 z95s = 14pts

Rlb= 6 pts

You save 10points, you get 2 extra fighters and you get RLB on a ship that cannot equip them.... but you cant yavaris.

Neb B Title: Deliverance

3 pts

At the start of the game, you may replace one defense token with another defense token of your choice.

One that just straight up gives it a contain for 1 point, combined with a Damage Control Officer would do wonders.

Double post, oops.

Here's one:

Arbitrator (ISD) 8pts

When attacking at long range, you may exhaust this card to exchange up to two red dice for blue dice. When attacking at short range, you may exhaust this card to exchange up to two blue dice for black dice.

Thoughts?

Would need to be worded as “squadrons with swarm may reroll versus ships if another friendly fighter is within distance 1 of that ship ” or something similar, because a core rule of swarm is engagement, and ships cannot be engaged... wording it straight as a general reroll bypasses s whole mead of rules clarifications.

Raider

flotilla title 'Outer Rim Patrol Group' 3 to 5 points (possibly more)

ship looses the Ord upgrade for turbolaser upgrade

-with this I'm thinking a straight up slot swap, no dice changes

They were talking about this in the other forum from Battle Front 2. The Corvus is a Raider Class that has no missiles on it so I would assume they would have Turbo Lasers on it. Sounds like it would be a cool Raider Title to me.

Of course, we already have a Raider class without ordnance.

it just has Ions instead of Turbos...

but thuse just just aren’t good enough to satisfy some ?

With Turbos it would be the ULTIMATE Flotilla Hunter! H9s make Flotillas die.

But still at medium range, where the Raider 2 already makes flotillas die...

since no no one is mentioning a dice colour change.

So to get people to not use a 5pt title you are going to have them spend 10pts and get 10pts free (at lest with out adding the cost of things with out listed value like Rapid Launch Bay on a ship that can not have it, or going over the squadron limit)? It may just be me but that sounds like to much free stuff, yes Yavaris is a nice title and sees lots of use for Neb-B's (not that the see the table lots). So on one hand I think things to make them see the table more is a good idea, but I think that this would be better at about 6pts (same cost as the Rapid Launch Bay) and then have the fighters cost extra, and/or limit the fighters to only being able to be given squadron commands by that ship. This brings the cost closer to the cost of the Yavaris title, and does let them get the Rapid Launch Bay on a ship that can not use it, also allows them to get fighters above the squadron limit, but does not give so much free stuff.

I still dont see it as too much free stuff.

Their only Z-95s, and maybe theyve done good for you, but theyve never done much for me with their willy reds.

Maybe its just me but i look and this title and my normal fleets and i struggle to choose between it and yavaris, even if this title is made up. And thats why i posted it.

I think I'd make it 4 pts: "[nav]: You may discard this card after you move to perform an additional speed one maneuver."
Otherwise it's just another form of ET's by a different name.

That very well could be the issue I think, I have never had a Z-95 miss shooting at squadrons, and have had six hits enough that it is not something super special. I think that the Z-95 is one of the best anti-squadron fighters in the game and would be a good value at tens points each. For me it is all about the red dice as they are in my opinion the best overall.

Now I normally play Empire, but when I play Rebel I do use Yavaris a lot, but when I look at this I see this hands down so much better that Yavaris is not even a second thought. The free Rapid Launch Bay (never use so a wash), but letting me get two free fighters that are some of the best anti-squadron and this on top of my already maxed out fighter list with the Rebels having the best fighters in the game, but that may also be local meta's as lots of time mine is different then others.

I can definitely see where we disagree now lol.

I often run Z-95s as a sort of filler points, yet even with the swarm rerolls i get lucly with 2hits :/

I much prefer A wings for a couple points more plus with their blue dice their Toryn-able.

And if 2 squadrons are too much for you to accept, change it to 1. Change the squadron.

I would gladly change it to a single A/X/Y/B/Scurrg/YT/etc. In fact the original idea was for 1 extra Xwing but i looked at it and thought - maybe 2 Z95s are better.
