No movie reviews please. I want to discuss details frim the move as they relate to our beloved game. Things we want. Things we don’t want. Things that should be different from TLJ expansions we already have.

I want an RZ-2, and I want it packaged with an RZ-1 fix.

I want the Secondary Weapons used by the First Order fighters. (Mag Pulses?)

First Order shuttle. Shuttles and TIEs. Embrace them.

I don’t want Poe to get anything new, even if we did see him execute consecutive red maneuvers and still win a dog fight.

Trajectory Simulator should not be a thing, and Risistance Bombers shouldn’t have a maneuver faster than 2. (I could actually do with erasing this expansion from existence.)

The TIE Silencer should have missiles. For game balance, I’m glad it doesn’t. This game has enough power creep.

If the Trajectory Simulator did not exist, then no one would buy the Resistance Bomber really...they had to give it something to make it somewhat interesting.

The Silencer would be fine with missiles. It's already hideously expensive so even buying missiles for Kylo would be a questionable choice that most of the time you'd not take. It wouldnt come close to being broken at all when that ship would cost basically a minimum of 50 points.

DJ's stolen ship is something. Could be the Jabba carrier everyone wants.

seriously, the resistance bomber from the movie would be the single most boring, worthless ship in the game. Three of them wouldn't be worth the one crashing TIE it took to knock them out

and it's such a pretty model

At least the resistance bomber is better than its movie version. Of course that is still pretty bad...

I'm not really seeing much else to add. RZ-2, fair enough, but if we didn't get Krennic's shuttle then why another First Order shuttle? I can't even remember what DJ's ship looks like, but hey, we got the Quadjumper I suppose, and that had a similar amount of screentime.

Sadly, A-Wings do almost nothing in this movie, the Shuttle/FO only gets used by the Resistance when they steal it, and we've already got all the other X-Wing scale ships.

The only thing I could see coming out of this movie is a campaign pack type thing, maybe with one of the Resistance Transports (the ones that look like tiny GR-75s.)

Let's be fair, here. Despite not doing much, the Resistance Bomber still did more than the TIE Reaper.

TLJ was the second appearance of this ship. The first was in the Poe Dameron comic, actually used in combat by the First Order.

We didn't get Krennic's YET, doesn't mean it's not planned, same with the Reaper.

I'd expect to see RZ2 A Wing, whatever DJ was flying, and maybe TIE/fo Bomber if that made it far enough to get into the visual dictionaries etc.

Resistance bombers; 4 hull, no shields, "Sympathetic Detonation" Bombs.

Don't get me started on fluff with this wave... FFG did a great job at balancing the TLJ ships.

I don't understand why this argument keeps coming up. Canon accuracy does not equal good gameplay. Furthermore, other than Poe's and Kylo's, all the ships in this movie barely got any dedicated screen time, certainly not enough to show their capability in terms of X-wing minis.

The fluff in this movie was all over the place, if the ships were accurate they'd all be a joke.

e.g. The Resistance Cruiser had a shield that could withstand a 12 hour salvo from multiple star destroyers, but another had its bridge blown out by TIE/sf, and the First Order Dreadnaught apparently doesn't have any shielding at all.

That said we better get an RZ-2. I also seriously doubt the missing SKU is DJ's ship after seeing the movie. First of all he stole it, and second it looked it was a Sienar-Jaemus Executive pleasure craft, which I'm guessing wouldn't be armed. That is just speculation though.

How can I be the first to point out that Chewbacca's pilot skill is an INSULT! First, no medal. Then, he gets no hug when his BFF dies. Now we find out he is an absolute ace pilot. PS 5?! Never!

Agreed. Though I'm not all that sure I want a third falcon expansion...

Other than the RZ-2, are there even any X-Wing compatible minis we haven't got already? Well, I might have missed something, after all, we got a Quadjumper that exploded after 2 seconds of screentime.

Maybe, erm... those transports as an Epic expansion? Dunno, seems kinda dull to me, but it's not impossible.

But with 2 more Rogue One ships with comparatively much more to go on, I'd be pretty disappointed if they made that FO shuttle first.

I would like them if the mini was bigger and the stats more accurate (3 attack, slower...).

Can someone link to a picture of the FO Shuttle? I assume we're not talking about the Upsilon.

I'd be fine getting a RZ-2 A-Wing with Tallie, but the RZ-1 does not need a fix. Or, alternatively, it already got one.

To be honest, after seeing the film my thought was "Cool. We got all the starfighters in TLJ. GET BACK TO MAKING THE SHIPS IN REBELS AND ROGUE ONE!!"

And the Resistance bomber was a hunk of junk. Almost every one blew up without delivering its payload. Heh, they just should have reprinted the TIE Punisher expac with a different model. That way, gameplay = fluff.
