One thought I had - but I'm sure I haven't the painting skill to do it! - was this:

It's the skull of a sabre-tooth. I saw it on the internet the other day looking at an archaeology article, and - being me - one thing that popped into my head was "that looks just like the elevation view of a TIE striker".

You'd need to be very handy with paints - probably an airbrush - to produce a believable version - but the result could look great if well done.

Awesome thing about this Corona virus stuff keeping everyone indoors is that it gives me more time to paint!

Custom blend of Citadel Administratum Grey and Citadel White Scar. I did not measure ratios when I made the blend, I just eyeballed it.
