I'm thinking clip the rear panel off the wings or the front panel on one side and make it asymmetrical.

What on earth... OK that looks technically difficult so bravo, but I do think it looks pretty horrible.

I'd call it a "ghost TIE" or "skeleTIE" maybe part of a dreaded ghost fleet from the outer reaches... It has no grounding in (current) Star Wars (pseudo-)science, but it's a brilliant job on skeletonizing the wing panels.

Honestly though, in a world with white solar panels it's not that much of a stretch to have "transparent" solar panels

How do you choose the accent color? I can't seem to step out of neutral colors on my Imps (black, grey, white & metallic,) but your color choice always seems appropriate.

Maybe I just need to choose 3 colors and just go for it.
