Yeah, but 0/0 cost 1... she should be at least 1/0. Unless she’s conflict, then she’s ok. Though I still expect her to have some glory value.

I'd point out that the Origami Master has the Pride trait without the reminder text. And, really, Pride is a perfectly good trait for a Fire Tensai.

We also don't know her Glory yet, which in Phoenix could be a significant bump.

Also, the only thing I see regarding fire-synchronization is the Fire Katana. A 0/0 character just to fuel a spell seems excessive.

The card number for the role is a single digit (no letter, so I assume no other side), so I think it's 3, which would put all the single-copy cards together.

According to the article:

”Disciples of the Void features a different spell for every element, a legion of Shugenja with powerful effects...”

So we’re gonna have 5 spells, all conflict of course, and starting at 19 or 20. Given that the Yogo is 25, and the role probably is 3, we still have 4 more conflict cards that aren’t spells.

I really love that this clan pack is focusing on alternate strategies for the Phoenix. I'm looking forward to what we could see in the other clans.

We could see a spell turning into a holding, yes. I'm thinking about one of the Black Scrolls. The Iron Citadel was the second Black Scroll to be opened by Yogo Junzo in the old timeline. It could come out soon in the LCG.

Indeed she is. But my point is that I expect all attachments to be together (Spell or not), then all events (again, Spell or not).

The changes I expect from the CS/Dynasty pack order are:

1. The role coming before dynasty cards instead of last
2. Phoenix coming before other clans inside each group (cards outside decks, dynasty cards, conflict cards), much like in other LCGs' deluxes, instead of alphabetically

So the order I expect in the pack is:

1. The one-of cards: stronghold, province and role
2. Phoenix dynasty cards: characters and holdings
3. Other clans' dynasty characters (the article says 1 character for each clan and there's no room for a 2nd card for each other clan)
4. Neutral dynasty cards
5. Phoenix conflict cards: characters, attachments and events (the announced new spells being part of the latter two)
6. Other clans' conflict characters
7. Neutral conflict cards

Harriers are also shinobi. That would make a great Scorpion vs Crane deluxe pack. Maybe the Scorpion pack would focus on poison.

Anyway, for the Phoenix pack, I would like to have several neutral spells, that I think the core is missing.

Tadaka speculation- A spanish player on 4chan wrote in the missing text based on the info already given, dimensions of the text box and just coinciding spanish sentences with the words given.

Remember it's all speculation / someone's guess:

(Your opponent cannot play copies of cards in their Conflict discard pile unless the Earth ring is among their claimed ring pool).

So your opponent cannot play another Forged Edict if they have a copy of Forged Edict in their discard pile. This forces your opponent to try to claim the Earth ring to get around this restriction.

The only thing that’s purely speculation is a) the ring’s element, which we assume earth because, well, Tadaka is an Earth Shugenja and b) the pool where the claimed ring must be. I think it has to be your opponent, but maybe it can also be in the reclaimed rings pool, meaning that if you reclaim the earth ring, he will be able to play copies.

No, it says “llos reclamados” which is part of “Anillos reclamados” (claimed rings)

“Ellos reclamados” does not make sense in spanish. “They’ve claimed” is “ellos han reclamado”

so the wording could be “a menos que el Anillo de Tierra se encuentre en la reserva de anillos reclamados” (unless the Earth ring is in the claimed rings pool). Or “se encuentre entre los anillos reclamados” (is among the claimed rings)
