Standby action

By chriscook, in Star Wars: Legion

It states that you can use a standby action on your troops to react to an enemy later in the turn. Does that mean you can use 1 action to attack, and the 2nd action to standby so you may shoot later- so 2 attacks from a unit in a turn- very awsome, very close to reaction in Dust Warefare!!

The Spanish demo rulebook says that you can't take the standby action if you have already attacked. I suppose there may be changes between that edition of the rules and the final product, but I don't think it will be possible for most units to get 2 attack actions in one turn. So far the only known exceptions are Luke and Vader with their unique command cards.

Pretty sure except for movement there's a once per turn restriction on actions, supported by saber throw needing to be worded like it is. We'll see though.

Page 41 of the Rules Reference states;

A trooper unit can perform the standby action if it has not performed an attack during its activation.

And a trooper loses all standby tokens if they perform a move or attack. So attacking and having a standby token is not possible.
