Double post

Speaking of double things... who out there paints mutliple versions of their heroes from core sets? And do you use a different color scheme? I kinda like having double heroes since I'm the only one in my friend group that collects and in a perfect world of unlimited money I'd have enough figures for mirror matches.

I gave away my double heroes, except Alianna of course.

My extra Kari and Ardus are sitting in the empty core set boxes.

I'll be painting mine in differing color schemes. The current Ardus is sporting "void" armor (painted with Black 2.0)... it's really dark.

I put my spare ones on eBay for a couple of £ and they sold

I guess to people who wanted to test painting

I have 2 spare Ardus, one I'm using for bits, the other I chopped and repositioned his arm for a different pose. I'll paint him when the painting queue gets shorter.

I've not painted doubles, doubt I will, heroes take me a long time to paint.

You know what I'd like double of? The Waiqar drummer and the Daqan wizard. I don't want any of the other models from those boxes, so it seems overkill to spend $50 just to get two minis...

I guess I could do an incoming eBay to buy the models, or do an outgoing eBay to sell off the unused ones.

But right there is the downside to how they packaged unit command models separately from other units, but bundled them together with ones you might not use.

I'd totally pay you $10 for the Waiqar herald + upgrade cards, depending on how shipping works out. That's the only one I really want more of at the moment, but like you, $25 for a single model is a deal breaker.

I haven't even started my elf commands... And have only done the banner from my second daqan command.

At one point in the past waiqar command figures were being sold sepperately on eBay, I picked up a bannerbearer with all cards for $9. I recall the drummers being cheaper. Might still be some up there.
