So I don't have the Genesys book yet, but I'm curious to see if it has the mass combat rules that appear in the Star Wars rpg.

No.

Mass Combat is so setting specific, it wouldn't have made any sense to include it in the Core Rulebook.

Maybe they'll incorporate it into a possible Tannhauser setting book, as that seems the most likely place for it (Weird War).
