I know that 30,000 is an arbitrary number and that January 1st is an arbitrary day, but wouldn't it just feel so satisfying to see the number of posts on this forum hit 30,000 by the New Year?

There are less than 800 posts to go with a little over two weeks to do it. Can we do it? Yes we can!

I want to see pictures of your painted miniatures and battle reports. I want to read your musings about the game and new tactics and units that you try out. I also love reading folk's feedback on their ideas and army lists.

I totally think we can do this.

I think we can do it! A new announcement would definitely help. I know I'm dying for some news and I really hope they spoil a new unit before Christmas!

I love the recent uptick in activity on these boards! There have been some awesome discussions lately, so I certainly hope this keeps up.

Hopefully I can get a full game in to report on in the next few weeks. I played a game with my wife the other day, but she fell asleep by round 3, so there wasn't much to report.

I need to get my table setup and run some solo skirmishes.

That's hilarious! Sad, but hilarious. Like the Initiative One guys said, the game's not for everybody - just most people.

Been thinking about contributing more myself. I like to think I get a chance to play a few times a month and that I should be recording these battles and sharing them with the community. I'll also get around to actually finish painting my army and share that to.

My wife and I usually end up having to 'pause' the match about halfway through. It picks up again in a day or so, so I end up with Runewars sitting on the table for a couple days which isn't a bad thing... Once my kid is born and learns to reach up onto the table in a year or two I imagine that will have to stop though hahaha

If the posts are announcing new units/factions/something, than yes, totally satisfying.

Luckily, we have a basement room where I can just close the door. When my little guy gets in there, he can really run amok. I had no idea how far those little paws could reach.

Do we think we will get a post before they go on holiday for Christmas? It's been a while since the last article and we may stand a chance with no xwing in the pipework currently and legion already having articles this week

Whoa, got hit with a serious stomach bug over the weekend that took me out of the post-count game. I'll try to up my numbers.

I feel like I post a decent amount I've been on these forums for 5 months and I'm at... [edit] 571 posts. I too NEED a new article. It's been since Black Friday. And you're welcome FFG for giving you credit for those articles, because all they really were was an article saying "This is now released".

I've played a lot of ffg games since 2012, but I am most active on these forums. I know at the very least the Xwing forums can be a little toxic.

If you find the X-Wing forums toxic you should spend some time hanging out with the 40K crowd to put that in perspective.
