I love the idea of ACMs, so I'm trying to work them into a list as the highlight.

I ran this yesterday with Cracken and Tycho/Shara. It did well against a double ISD list, but I was a little underwhelmed with the maneuverability of the MC30s and HH once they got in close. My main concerns would be bomber/Sloan lists and other MSU lists. None of my ships push squadrons well, which is okay since I'm not running many. I have Han and Corran to basically hide in obstacles and pick at fighter swarms. With Han, the plan is to jump in with one or two enemies, attack, then activate at the beginning to attack and run away. Corran basically is to snipe as he jumps obstacle to obstacle. I've played around with including Garel's Honor on the HH, but in the long run it seemed bloated, particularly with how likely it is to go down. With the MC30s and no Mon Mothma, advanced projectors made more sense than Foresight to me. I wouldn't mind getting engine techs on the other TRC90, but I wasn't finding the points.

While running with Tycho/Shara I could definitely work in either the Engine Techs or Hondo / Tantive IV. Since I'm not running any flotillas, Hondo/Tantive IV would be there so I can set up an MC30 with double tokens if needed. I didn't really feel like Tycho/Shara were going to be worth their points without getting the push from a squadron command, so I went with Han/Corran and the price bump.

What are your thoughts on composition? Any suggestions for changes or tactics while flying. Suggestions on objectives?

It looks fun for sure! My one thought is what about dropping the TRC-90 for two flotillas and some more fighter coverage (or a bid)?. Another activation would be beneficial for an MSU like this, and a bid would help you get last/first, or a bigger fighter wing to protect you from enemy bombers since you have no Mothma defense.

I had been debating dropping the 2nd TRC90 actually! I've been trying to decide how effective it would be though to have that extra activation. Once the MC30s are in close, I don't really need the padding, because at least one of them will want to activate early. I'll have to think on this.

I've decided to go with essentially no bid, partly to force myself to play 2nd player more. That's why I'm running two MC30s: to be able to threaten two areas while playing 2nd to help offset the lack of first/last. I have been relying too much on first/last, and I was dropping 15-20 pts on a bid, which was a bit much for my taste. I figure this way I either get 1st (yay!) or I learn to play 2nd and make them pay for having to play my objectives.

Extra fighter coverage would be nice, particularly something that would just get in the way. Any suggestions on what to run with a fleet like this? I was thinking maybe some YT2400's.

If you went with flotillas you could cram 3 a-wings and an a-wing ace in and command them with the flots. Speed 5 and counter 2 is great for a light intercepting force.

Snd ya activation padding becomes irrelevant in the combat rounds, but it can be crucial for avoiding a Demo last/first or being forced to run into a pile of Yavaris b-wings
