No. That means congrats. Hannukah sameach (sah-may-ak would be a decent transliteration) means happy Chanukah.

So dumb question from an ignorant Catholic, is it spelled with a Ch or an H? I've seen both.

It can be either. Hebrew is a different alphabet, like Chinese.

Some people say it differently, too. I've heard it with a hay or a chet as the first letter.

Interesting. I studied it years and years ago to the point now I pretty much remember the alphabet and half a dozen words or so... never saw the “hay” spelling before.
