Sorry I'm a bit late to this:
Happy Chanukkah to everyone!
Even if you don't celebrate it, I still want to know: what X Wing ships did you get/are expecting/hoping for over the holidays?

Edited by Celestial LizardsI snagged a Gozanti, another Silencer, 2 GUNBOATS, another Lambda, and a Tie Interceptor.
Happy Chanukkah!
Happy Chanukah to you Celestial Lizards!
I'm hoping to get Gunboat! For Christmas, and maybe the resistance bomber too!
Mazel tov?
Hoping for another Y-wing, a Starviper, and a Havoc.

No. That means congrats. Hannukah sameach (sah-may-ak would be a decent transliteration) means happy Chanukah.
So dumb question from an ignorant Catholic, is it spelled with a Ch or an H? I've seen both.

It can be either. Hebrew is a different alphabet, like Chinese.

Some people say it differently, too. I've heard it with a hay or a chet as the first letter.
Yes, I know my Hebrew.
Edited by Celestial LizardsHappy Hanukkah. My brother gave me Guns for Hire.
I find it weird the holiday rhymes with Chewbacca.

Grab your Chewbacca, it’s time for chanukkah.
And say hi to your obi-wanakas, cause it’s time for Hanukkah.
(For those who don’t get it, it’s reference to what was originally a song by Adam Sandler on SnL that has become more popular over the years.)
And have a happy Hanukkah everyone!

Interesting. I studied it years and years ago to the point now I pretty much remember the alphabet and half a dozen words or so... never saw the “hay” spelling before.
