my best try at a non-palp build. I’ve played it twice. Engine upgrade is a must, techs get a ton of use, just not getting much from Operations Specialist right now... in theory should hand extra defense focus to Kylo or Stridan... dunno. I feel like there might be something here... not sure if it’s good enough.

another Stridan build I’ve looked at... but now you’re in RAC territory for points

I like both those builds...I just get nervous having only Kylo and the shuttle, so this is a list with a decoy ship to maybe distract the opponent

I JUST made this exact same list in my squad bulder and was about to post it here. Thanks for beating me to it!

I like this list in theory. Lots of options for Kylo, Stridan gives a coordinate, and he has a focus stored up and FCS for fully modded shots with Palp for insurance to grab a crit or make sure that critical evade occurs when needed.

Wampa is a solid 14 pts.

Odds are you wouldn't Palp a crit for wampa, but the threat is always there. And he and Stridan match PS which is nice.

I've given some table time to the build below. I ended up narrowly winning vs. Rey/Poe by having half points on Rey. I think the addition of Wampa is really important. Kylo doesn't want to dive in for strong damage and Striden can be flown so the addition of a Wampa blocker and consistent. damage dealer would be very welcome. I don't think targeting Synchronizer pays off well enough in this build either.

That is a solid Kylo build, but I might suggest going with Primed Thrusters or Pattern Analyzer instead of the Cluster, I think it'll have more value in the long run.

Now, the Upsilon. Combining the Upsilon's coordinate with Kylo is really bloody cool. You get the free reposition, PTL into another, then pull your green and focus. And its not like that Kylo is useless once Stridan is gone. However, you do need Stridan to have real impact other than as sorta Adv. Sensors. And when you have to use your action for coordinate, and Kylo really doesn't need economy a la Fleet Officer, what that use is is difficult to determine.

I would include a third ship - I don't think you can load up the Up enough, but I will include a suggestion just in case. Here are my two suggestions:
