Man if you aren't relishing the opportunity to hairball out proton bombs for relatively cheap, I'd say you're missing out
I have Resistence Bomber and it's AWESOME!
Proton Specialist FTW!

I know two people who have independently made triple bomber squads and they're both getting good results in their playtesting.
Man for a second I forgot which thread this was and got all excited and confused about triple TIE Bombers.
Meh to the Resistance Bomber, too expensive for me to buy it when it doesn't look all that interesting.
4 hours ago, Vineheart01 said:hey fickle, outta put it on a Huge Ship post.
its hilarious lol. I only use Huge Ship posts for my large ships because they fit so so much better than those stupid pegs do (Ghost exception of course)
also thats another thing they could have done: give it an inverted ARC treatment! It has an aux arc with 2die forward, 3die rear. Look at how many guns are on the back half!
I was literally thinking the same thing. How cool could this could have been Aux arc in front 3 or 4 dice primary out the back? Like 8 guns pointing backwards...

I would, but then I need to figure out how to get Nym into the list so he can prevent it from blowing up when everyone swerves to avoid it.

That could work.
This ship is growing on me a bit. At first I did not like the look of it. Somehow it looks better with 1 or 2 others near it. 1 looks a little silly but seeing 2-3 in a formation looks cool. Am I crazy? Maybe I just need to see it in action on film.
I want to play Crimson Leader+Poe Dameron+Blue Squadron Novice. I just have to work out the points as I feel something is missing. However, the Bomber is first ship where Hyperwave Comm Scanner seems to have use. Especially, when you give AO to Poe and starts game with a Focus.
Looks better on @ficklegreendice photos than on preview, and you can appreciate better the size.
Still not buying more rebel scum till Resistance A-Wing, probably.
I doubt there will be a resistance A-Wing. It'll be Han Solo ships next
I'm convinced that there will be a TLJ wave after the movie, with Resistance A-Wing and FO Bomber...
But my opinion/hunch means **** ![]()
I need Resistence A-Wing!

2nd ship. Lieutenant Dormitz was the first. Put 2 HypComScans on it and throw 1-2 ships into the middle of the map during setup with an evade and focus token. Nothing like RAC being in your face on turn 1 an with evade, focus, and TL. Or 2 Gunboats. Or Omega Leader and Quickdraw. Etc...

Remember my friend, the Scurrg designer is the same one that doesn't have to strive for balance, they previously dreamed up the K-Wing, Jumpmaster and the Auzituck.

This. If this ship is FFGs pre-designed answer to the cancer of Auzituck spamming, then maybe I'm interested. Sadly, it doesn't seem to be the Punisher fix either; the tiny bumps she gets from new releases is radically eclipsed when utilized by the already OP K-Wing and Scurrg. Sad pandas are the Imperial Bomber pilots, sad pandas.

I don't find the Auzitucks to be overpowered. The Scurrg is crazy overpowered and I think the nerf to advanced slam helped to stabalize the K-Wing. Even though a K-Wing can be pretty tough I find them easy to focus fire down with an Ace or two.
scurrg shouldnt have had a 3die attack and a more limited dial.
Its the scum heavy bomber. Look at the Kwing/Punisher, they had 2die primaries and a limited dial (though the kwing gets around it via the turret)
Scurrg can use missiles/torps just fine while also having a turret failsafe to fall back on, kwing/punisher struggles for that. And of course, 3die primary = Gchip crits. I think the ONLY 3die primary ordnance capable ships that actually would want gchips are scum (scurrg/kimo)
Scurrg has EPT....DAFUQ DOES IT HAVE AN EPT FOR?!
that being said i still love my deathrain more than nym. Pre-genius nerf Nym just felt....cheap and lame. You literally didnt even have to try and he demolished so many ships. Deathrain takes alot of forethought but he wrecks people too now. Plus i love insulting people by winning with a PUNISHER lol
Edited by Vineheart01After a couple of games with this list, I’ve really enjoyed it and want to try other builds as well. Paired with a couple T-70s it makes for a fun theme.
Crimson Specialist’s ability to drop their bomb anywhere touching their base was fun, and I definitely got my points’ worth out of Deflective Plating before it folded.

Even a triple harpoon list has to get lucky to drop one on the first round, and that one can recharge it's Crossfire Optics while it stops and another fortress blocks it off with a tactical jammer... The offense is weak, but it extremely hard to finish one off.

I for one won't bother picking one up. There really isn't a card in the pack that seems like a must have. They look badass in The Last Jedi trailers, but the model is very 'meh'.
And the model is way too small.

Maybe an edge to make them either go through the middle or in the middle to block off a straight shot through the obstacles. If the enemy set up on opposite corners, maybe place it between their ships to isolate the weaker force which you go after first.
I fly large base ships often and am pretty good at judging maneuvers around closely spaced obstacles. So I fly my list in the middle of the debris field. I generally like to block off the easiest entrance to the field from the enemy so I can get in first.
Does Minefield Mapper work with ordnance silos?
Placing four bombs at the start of the game sounds a bit crazy.

Sadly, given it doesn't work with Extra Munitions, I don't think it does.
(This isn't a huge spoiler but I'll be careful)
After seeing the movie, I think this thing needed way, way more bomb slots. And it needs at least one crew slot, and I really want Rose's Sister as a crew!
Having played against this last night it’s pretty awesome. Very robust and fun. Just need to work out how to defeat it.
I don’t like the turret but it’s probably jealously as I wish the Punisher has a turret. Bombing and turrets go together like carrots and peas and Imperials don’t have that toy. (Edit: except the Deci. I wonder...)

I've had wet dreams of that, but sadly you can only drop one set with a minefield mapper.

You weren't flying Jess and 3 Green Sqd last night were you?

I was First Order, opponent Resistance. Of course he flew Jess. My nemesis. We flew a 200 point match 6x3 board.
