I thought it might mean Gink hoped that I'd be the night kill, and that it'd be directed to Vis.

Vis and Toad have been sparing the entire game, and I hope the end result doesn't mirror Ebon and Gink as we townies are positioned to lose if we vote incorrectly. So, in the interests of giving us townies the best possible vote outcome, I will now reveal my role. I am a Runner Pilot . I performed my run during Night 3, the night Ghost was redirected.
So, now I return to Toad's first question, "Did Wig run too?" That is such a specific question to ask in light of my previous public position on my role. Is it role fishing? Is he trying to out me? Is he making a guess of my role from an assessment of the town roles possessed by the dead compared to the roles still possibly in play?

This also has made me wary of Mad... you voted for Nips even after he said he tracked you and said you did nothing on a previous night. How would scum no this... and more importantly why would they bring it up?

First, sorry I disappeared yesterday. I was not sober from like 2:15 on.
Back to the game, and the above quoted; This is very interesting information- I had a vote lined up, but this may change it. Let me hash this out.
A couple of things here;
1. Between you and Ard, we could have saved Gnips. Knowing that two other pilots had run would have created more than enough reasonable doubt as to whether Nips had been the night kill, even without JJ’s input. I understand not wanting to come out and say “HEY EVERYONE I BLEW MY PROTECTION!” But we’d be in better shape with a live tracker than a live pilot.
2. The whole Toad stuff is interesting. Since we now know that Gnips could not have been the killer, we are left with three explainations for the no kill;
a) No kill order was input (I doubt it)
b) Scum targetted Ard and failed cuz he ran
c) Scum targetted Wiig and failed cuz he ran
B or C are the most likely.
If C, then scum knows that Wiig ran. And they know how it made Ard look to have withheld the information. So evaluating Toad just comes down to if you believe this is what he was doing.
I wasnt sure, but he just voted me while I was writing this and so I’m just going to address that;

This doesnt take into account the rest of my game at all. I was wrong on Gnips, but I was right about pod, which was a train I started twice, on consecutive days. Yes, he ****** up his defense, but I tabbed him before that. Gink made a solid case against Nips, given the information available.

I’ve addressed this myself. It was my belief at the time he had guessed it, as given the roles already out it was a fair guess that anyone remaining is unlikely to have a night action besides run. But the fact that I provided that information should make it clear to you I’m town. I shared that immediately.
Anyway, this whole thing smacks of deflection after Wiigs reveal.

I ran through the short version yesterday. He never gave us an answer that we needed to clear Gnips, and I haven’t seen the kind of insight I expect to see from him when he’s playing town. I think he’s been scum-marining for a while now, and I’m not gonna let him keep it up. Additionally, his voting record screams “I’m trying to stay under the radar”. Ebon D1, whatever, Toad D2, No one d3-5. No one!

I concur. I would think the investigator and the scout as it doesn't make sense for the Imperials to have a pilot since they all read that way when scanned.
