The paranoia in Toad's argument feels fake and I think he's clinging to it to stengthen his otherwise weak accusation. Seems he doesn't want to let it go because he has nowhere else to aim. That happens with scum when they have a hard time finding reasons to vote against townies.

I'm on my lunch. I don't have much time, so I'll post a follow up after I get out of work.
I have reread the voting posts. I've also thought about Ovi's death, specifically why the townie Zealot would kill someone who wasn't reading scummy to anyone. Long story short, it got me thinking about the scim win condition. They have no night kill. The scum need us townies to kill each other to win.

Well, I've been thinking Toad is scum since D1!! Still for the same reasons, and got virtually no other reads since apparently part of the players hadn't properly got the mechanics of that game... So I'm sticking with my read from yesterday, and none of his posts today seem to make him any more town to me, so still think he is scummy

But Ebon’s argument against Pod (based on his IRL association), Pods own play (so far of completely no use us) and my increasing annoyance at reading his posts have led me to;

I’ll try to make more of an effort post before deadline, artificial or not, but I can’t commit. Work is silly today.
Just got out of an important meeting, and am woefully far behind after trying to catch up last night. I am reading posts now and will get a vote/opinion in. When I signed up I thought my schedule was going to slow down going into the new year as it typically does, instead I am doing a breakneck sprint to the finish trying to get two million dollars banked for my company before the end of the year (I have 3 days left before the deadline passes, and my boss really wants his money).

That's assuming he wasn't lying. You can't take his actions as ignorance just like you can't take Ebon's as such.

I found this interesting that ebon says this and gink is now at the majority vote, and Mad just voted pod.
Meanwhile, Rajam is pushing for votes on thetoad who has his vote on ebon.
This all (obviously) points to Ebon gaining a fair amount of towncred through this day. For what it's worth, the whole "voting fiasco" arose because I didn't vibe ebon scum and didn't want to vote down someone that felt town just to get a vote, so I am on board with looking favorably on ebon despite the fact that not reading and understanding the game setup is a bit of a meta issue.
I am still amenable to a visovics vote, though he hasn't really helped or hurt his case with what he has said today and that vote lost steam with mad shifting, other than the fact he keeps following on Toad... which is interesting, especially since toad is in the doesn't believe ebon camp.
I am not opposed to a pod vote, but other than playing in the most obnoxious character to date (never thought I would pine for Cninj's beeps and whirs) I don't particularly think he has done anything scummy. However, lynching him does give us information on ebons reads and who is willing to pile on them.
JJ's frustration reads super real, and as I have been in those shoes before, he passes town muster for me.
Gink's frustration, similarly, reads real. I assumed ebon was misreading, but Ginks frustration with having his reads be invalidated by us allowing a massive oops on ebons part is understandable. however, this frustration would be there regardless of whether he was town or scum. It makes me hesitant to put a vote there today, but honestly other than pouncin on ebon who now everyone is somewhat following I don't know why he has the majority vote.
For what it's worth, my take is that ebon is town, but that we are giving him a fairly generous pass and now his suspicions are getting vote traction, as Pod pointed out ninja'ing me.
