[Mafia] Rebel Runners - Day 1

By Onidsen, in Star Wars: Armada Off-Topic

Going on the assumption that Ebon is town, I think it's smart for us to take a look at his reads. I haven't got a scum sense on Pod, it really feels a lot like his earlier games, though I don't really remember him picking a character. He also seems a little less active than he was during those first games.

I'm going to relook at gink's posts now.

It’s pretty obvious why I’m thinking Ebon, look at my posts from earlier in the day. I think he’s scum trying to signal his scum mates cause he dosnt think he’s gonna make it through the day.

Okay, looking back through the threat I've cooled down a bit. Rajam is still out of line with his vote on me, but I still don't read him as scum.

OMG!! ******* editor cleared my post...45 minutes wasted.

Okay, **** this. 2 hours later the same ******* thing happens. Tried copying to save it incase of another error, but evidently that didn't work either. 30 quotes in. I'm just so so so so so so so so so so so done right now.

much shorter version.

Pod hasn't added anything of value to this game.

Of the 4 votes on Ebon: I know I'm town, and ovi is dead. Of Ninja and Pod I'm willing to bet only one is scum. Ebon thinks Pod, but while pod has been worthless Ninja has had a few questionable moves. Involved with the vote ****-up, and he put a vote on ebon again today with the main reason seeming to be "he was playing badly". That's horrible reasoning unless you are a scum looking to place a vote.

Of the votes on Vis. Toad was early, now he questions ebon. That logic makes no sense anymore since Ebon couldn't really be warning about Rajam. Mad was also rather early. Gink's vote on vis was rather insistent, even through all the end of day voting ****-up. Broba also had is vote on vis late. I find it interesting that braba says he was online waiting for ninja to post, even though he knew it was a tie. Why wouldn't he just unvote and break the tie to avoid a no-lynch? Even if he didn't have a read on ebon, isn't a lynch better than a no-lynch? Broba blames ninja for the no-vote.

For now broba, gink, and Ninja are my top suspects. I doubt ninja and broba are both scum. If ninja is town, I'd look at pod again.

To me it seems like it would be really risky for scum to chance killing a scum while going for a no-vote. It makes me wonder if both vis and ebon are town.

##vote Ebon.

I have realised that its not him dying tonight, so I am not going to refrain from voting as I was doing.

How do you know there are other investigative roles out there?

This was the most important quote from the group. So after realizing ebon wouldn't be killed by scum, he votes him? That makes no sense, if he truly believed that ebon was scum, why would he even consider that ebon would be the target of their night kill? This leaves gink voting someone he believes is town...

Not quite. Badly explained.

I had strong doubts about Ebons alignment, but also incorrectly believed that IF he was town that scum should kill him, so I was happy to leave him alive and let scum confirm by lack of nightkill his alignment.

Just finished rereading the end of D1. I think this is where I stand:

Caribbean: Feeling better about him. In the reread it felt as he was trying to make an honest attempt in achieving a lynch for the interests of town.

Ginkapo: Not interested in lynching him toDay.

TheToad: Didn't like his stubborn position of not moving his vote. At least he left it all the time against Visovics and didn't move it on EHawk. If Visovics flips scum, I'd feel better about Toad

Broba: Arrived waay too late and didn't help much. Still can die

Madaghmire: Why did he disappear half an hour before deadline? Disappeared after seemingly attempting to promote a lynch on Visovics. When he was around he was ok, but I still can't feel comfortable with this slot. Can die? If it comes to it I'd lynch him, although I prefer lynching others

PodRacer: If Viso flips scum, Pod needs to die.

---

I'm still keeping my town gut-impressions on WigTii and Ardaedhel. Didn't like the absense of GoNbIP during yesterDay's deadline; this guy has fallen in the depths of Forgotten Land and needs to step up. Willing to lynch him now.

JJs had legit johns for not being during deadline... but he still HAS to die. Soon.

So JJ does have a good reason, but I do not, even though our reasons were similar?

The Pinocchio reference implies the Runner is a liar.

Ah, of course.

I'm running late today. I'll post and vote during my lunch.

:) I’m not hiding anything. And my vote on Ebon is more legit than your rage vote on Rajam.

Now that said, Ebon has actually done a lot more explaining of his play. In my mind right now it comes down to Ebon or Gink or Pod.

Ebon's play has been bad town or maybe shrewd scum. Ebon is no idiot, but I am warming to the idea that he just mucked it up.

The Ard Chart shows that Gink voted 7 times in Operation ***********. That is more than me and Broba combined and does say something. Gink says he just blew it and I do understand that. But do we believe him?

@PodRacerget your head in the game and drop the act for just a little while. What do you think about Ebon and Gink? Ebon has thrown a lot of stuff at you, but you've done little this game so far. Why should we not vote you off for scumarining?

On the secondary tier I see Vis and JJ. Visovics right now related to Operation *********** and the possibility that he was protected.

This is exactly what the Toad and I have our votes in on him for, yet JJ wants to push on us for it. I'm concerned about that. Does anyone else not know why our votes are on Ebon?

Mans not In love with Ebons Play, as Iv been suggesting since D1 Bruv

He clearly Did some fishng and ting D1 and even soft confirmed he was a PR or scum in response to Ovi

In my mind hes scum trying to give false positive reads on people.

How can we rely on him moving forwards? Mans not sure we Can fam. If he ever even got a result last night.

Mans not marining, Man is deciding. The effect of todays vote has to be the right one.

Im not convinced that even once Iv put my vote out The fuckery brigade wont come and sabotage the vote again anyways fam.

Talking of Marines, Anyone heard from @BrobaFett ?

Operation *********** now officially replaced by Operation Fuckery

Man keeps seeing ' if so and so flips X' Check Pod n ting

@EbonHawk Knows where I am if he wants to come 'scan' me.

Oh right. That wont happen now.

Mans Town Bredren. Mans Not Hot.

Its just an accent n ting. Innit.

@Onidsen

Count ting please Fam.

Yea, after sleeping on it I’ve decided to

##voteEbon

I think the risk of him being scum is too great... we’re either lynching a bad townie or a brilliant scum

about 3 hours until our made-up deadline.

Unofficially:

Vis (2) - Rajam, Mads

Gink (3) - Ebon, GNIPs, Ard

Ebon (2) - CNinja, TheToad

Do you really think this could be brilliant scum?

13 Players, 7 to Hammer:

@Visovics - (2) Rajam, Madaghmire

@Ginkapo - (3) EbonHawk, GNips, Ard

@EbonHawk - (2) CNinja, The Toad

Well if he is scum and makes it through this he’ll be in a great position... so yea, for the umpteenth time now... he’s either a terrible town player or a brilliant scum player setting himself up for the win

Six players who havent voted. I think people should throw a vote down. You can always swap out later if you feel its better served elsewhere

Will leave work in around an hour so nothing substantial till then.

However, given my position.

I am the runner hacker who redirected Ebon to Rajam.

I chose to redirect someone I found to be scummy and also expected to be one of the most vocal about their results so I could kill two birds with one stone as it were. I wasnt sure if my target would know they were redirected or not so a vocal player is even more important.

I chose Rajam because I couldnt get a read on him so wanted Ebon to get something if possible.

Yes I can still be pissed of with stupid play when I specifically targetted Ebon because I expected stupid play. This has been royally stupid play.

So @Ginkapobefore you go then, what's your vote?
