howver if it was town you know what I'm saying is the truth regardless if you believe im town

Which doesn’t mean I’m not looking at you. Why is it obvious that scum have access to the Investigator role, Mr. Investigator?

I agree with you overall, but just like Pod last game, Ebon's play may actually prove detrimental to town in the long run. As you are the person he spoke about, how do you feel about his actions?

I'm trying to coordinate town where we have numbers, and we know from the setup we will have 2-3 min investigative roles.

Are we really lynching him because he claimed?

There are 65165156156x players who are far more scummy

Thank you, maybe not the best claim in your guys opinion but imo I believe the odds can favour us..

Right. I dislike Ebon's play, and am liking it less and less as we go on. I am also distrustful of Gink however. . . I am torn which to vote for.

Ebon is at L-4. Gink is at L-6 or so. maybe -5. Not that that matters, as we have a majority system in place.

I think I shall

##vote Ebon

for now, as his play does seem scummy, but Gink is next on my list of suspects.

Vote gink we kill a scum, I can scan one of pod or JJ, feeling JJ as my pod reads are always stronger..

if gink is town then feel free to lynch me tomorrow..

fair enough some may see my claim as scum, but I'm trying to help town and imo gink and pod especially ring scum...

What about pods current play of nothing?

also gink has been weaksauce this game, personally his posts are scum trying to be town... and he can use forum weight to shift opinion.. from his interactions in game (quoted by mad previously), and general tone

on myself i still don't get how someone posting what looks like a soft claim, and then jsut asking if it was is role fishing ffs... 3 games with this accusation it's my ******* playstyle people. I'm British I don't bear around any bushs, as big shaq would say, you get me bruvs aha

gink has nothing cause he's scum, I can scan someone tonight and at least track another sucm, and you can thank me for he first one

His vote is on visovics.

Because it's their only listed role in red.... in the very first post....

and i I know which is why I've revealed it, I got a green pm investigator

My backgrounds in law enforcement and protecting people which I why I questioned ovi at the start as(using my flavour as we all should be doing FYI),as ex law enforcement I disagree with being labelled a smuggler

Oh **** right out of the gate today. Missed it.

What do the other 65165156151 player think?

Also can I reveal something to town, I confirmed rajam because I know for 100% he can survive tonight boooiom

Ok, you said scum have access to the investigator role, a role you claimed.

I think you slipped up.

Investigator is black, or neutral role. Either side could have it. The red role is Infiltrator.

So, you want me to believe you mixed up your own role there? I mean the words are sort of similar. They both start with I, after all.

Anyone fancy eating their words and asking how?

Great! Because you wont be killing him?

Oh fair enough, yes I did.. and I didn't mix my role up just misread and thought scum could have that role also...

Heck, maybe we had 2 on the line yesterday.

which appears to be a lie

I was out in London to watch the Last Jedi, ran out of data 2 days ago, so was only able to post once I got in the train to come back home. I have a enough of self-dignity in these games to not go lying about where I was. Gink’s post refers to Saturday, where I had to get to Safari on my phone, that actively has this page open, but I couldn’t take time to read and post stuff, I was at work. Got home exhausted and time was gone.

Hmm. Hmmmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Considering it.

No, my scan only reveals a role.. which means the only things I can confirm is green roles, and red roles

rajam is a role which allows him to leave a night, so no one can night kill him and it was safe for me to tell...

youre looking scummy now mad... maybe our 4th

I knew I could reveal rajam and he could look after himself, which is why he took it okay I guess, and allows us to get more people working together off the back of that, and work a credible town

So unless sucm fancy nightkilling me and making themselves a little more obvious than gink is now, me and rajam can roll into the next day as 2 town with more hopefully once the investigators which I know now are all town starting collating reads

The role you just described is a role either faction can have...

Wait, what? Investigator as I understand it is only giving you the role, not the faction. Only one role in this setup is capable of leaving for the night, and its a neutral role.

So now I’m very confused. If Raj is a pilot, which is something either side can have and the only role that fits your description, then he cannot be confirmed town. Otherwise, you are lying.

I need to step away for a minute to process I think.

Even if that's so, feasibly the only role the sucm would get out of them is the hacker, which would stop town actions, no need for them to have the ohers

no need for pilot no no night kill threat

Refer to last post, I reckon sucm have their red role and hacker that's it, the rest left to a large town.. why would scum need to run at night.. yes to stop themselves being exposed but redircting to others seems more logical as it can do what it's doing and redirect to black roles to spin suspicuonsuspicion

Rebel Runners

Year 1 of the New Order

The Imperial siege of Hyperion IV has dragged on for months. The orbital defenses have kept stormtroopers from landing on the planet as of yet, but the blockade is tightening around the former CIS system.

Such a situation is, of course, a fertile breeding ground for smugglers. And the system's fierce resistance to Imperial occupation has become a symbol to a small community of malcontents intent on defying the might of the New Order. These rebel blockade runners have formed into a tight-knit community, intent on keeping Hyperion supplied with everything it needs to continue it's fight against the Empire. Some of these runners even dream that Hyperion's resistance might inspire other systems to join, reigniting the flame of the old Confederacy. Others are in it for the profit, and want to keep the Hyperion market open for their goods as long as profit.

But regardless of their motive, each of the disparate smugglers is dedicated to keeping Hyperion free.

Until now. Imperial agents have managed to infiltrate the information network used by the runners, and have begun to pick apart the group from the inside. From the nature of the interceptions, everyone knows it has to be an inside job. If you don't want to end up in an Imperial prison, you must root out the Imperial spied before they destroy you.

---------------------------------------------

Hello, and welcome to Rebel Runners!

Even if you've never played before, you are welcome to sign up for this game! The more the merrier!

General Rules:

During the day, you may vote for whoever you think is an evil Imperial infiltrator out to burn down your community by posting ##vote [insert target]. At the end of the day, whoever has the most votes will be killed, and their role and alignment will be revealed. If there is a tie, no kill will happen. The day lasts for 48 hours, or until a player receives a majority of the votes, at which point the hammer falls and the Day is immediately over (even if the moderator is not around to officially say so).

During the Night, players with actions may submit their targets to the GM. No players may talk in the thread during the night, although anyone with private communications may continue to use those channels. Nights will last for 24 hours, or until all actions have been submitted.

Editing of posts is not permitted.

Using the forum's Quote function on your Role PM is not permitted, and will be responded to by an immediate modkill.

When you sign up for the game, feel free to create a flavor name for your character! If you have not submitted a flavor name by the time the game starts, the GM will assign one to you, randomly generated using a Star Wars name generator. All flavor names will be public information at the start of the game, and will be listed on the player list. The GM disclaims any and all liability for the suitability of your randomly generated flavor name if you should fail to create your own.

When voting for a player, please vote using their forum name, not their flavor name, to avoid confusion.

The Imperial Infiltrators win if they outnumber the town players, or if nothing can stop such an event from occurring. The Runners win if they find and destroy all of the infiltrators.

Roles:

Roles will be chosen from the following list. None of these roles are guaranteed to be in the game, and there may be more than one of any given role; however, no role that is not on the list will be included. Roles listed in Green are exclusively town-aligned, while those in Red are exclusively scum-aligned. Roles listed in black can be of either faction.

Pilot: You are an experienced blockade runner, who has done this job for many years. Once per game, during a night turn, you may leave to go on a solo blockade run by responding to your game PM with ##run. On the night that you do this, any and all actions targeted against you fail. This role is the game's equivalent of a vanilla role.

Scout: Your long experience scouting distant hyperspace routes has made you more suspicious than most. Each night, you can follow one of your fellows to see what they are up to by responding to your game PM with ##track (insert player here). You are told who they visited during the night.

Hacker: Your computer manipulation skills are legendary. Each night, you can use them to misdirect one of your fellows by responding to your game PM with ##redirect (insert player here) to (insert player here). Any actions taken by the player you target are redirected to the second player you listed. You cannot target yourself with this ability.

Investigator: You were once trained in law enforcement, before you decided to break the laws instead. In the present crisis, you can put your old training to use to dig up secrets from the past. Each night, you may investigate one of your fellows by responding to your game PM with ##scan (insert player here). You are told the role (but not the faction) of your target.

Zealot: You are a CIS patriot, willing to do almost anything in order to further your cause. Each night, you may choose one player and eliminate them by responding to your game pm with ##kill (insert player here).

Padawan: You had the benefit of some training in the Jedi Temple, though you fell away from the order before the end of the Clone Wars. Each night, you can use your force abilities to investigate one of your fellows by responding to your game PM with ##scan (insert player here). You are told the faction (but not the role) of your target.

Infiltrator: Your infiltration skills have been honed by a lifetime of espionage. If you are scanned, your faction shows as Runner and your role as Pilot.

All role PMs will follow the following format:

"Hello and welcome to Rebel Runners!

You are [Insert character name here], a [insert alignment] [insert role]!"

The role description will then be copied and pasted from this document, along with the win condition.
