But what would be the intended point if it were? Sacrifice one scum to protect the others by naming them in the accusation, possibly?

The second quote came only after 1 minute later. In that second quote he seems to get more annoyed for what he considers unjustified pressure. It's a town reaction. When called guilty, town and scum react differently: town feels upset at first, then starts to get more annoyed and worried over time; scum overreacts at first, then tries to calm himself upon time.

Later on, we have this:

Roles with smuggler backgrounds:

pilot, scout, possibly zealot.

roles that don't have a smuggling background:

investigator, Jedi padawan, hacker, the scum

also for everyone else, I'm not rolefishing I don't care about roles yet

For me at least, this feels like an honest attempt to contribute. Town points

Overall EbonHawk has been around all the time too, he didn't disappear when pressured, he's been worried about it, but not with scummy overreaction.

Ginkapo: Currently null. I liked the way he began to put pressure on Toad. As time has go on though, it's like he rested on that "case" and didn't do much else. His case on Ebon is terrible, anyone can quote posts from people, say "interesting", and put the appearance of scumhunting. Also, the failure in achieving the alliance tells me he feels uncomfortable being the center of attention. Despite all this, he can live for today.

I won't care if that keeps me alive a bit more. I am usually more valuable late-game. My reading skills suck.

However with 4 hours left and a IA campaign ahead I will vote.

I don’t feel confident enough about potential reads on Rajam anyone else for that matter. While Rajam’s play has me concerned, it came off right away as an experienced player trying to push hard day 1, his vote suggestion is still giving me pause though.

The reason why I’m voting for ebon. Much of his early conversation felt odd to me, like it was slightly forced. The slight weak rolefishing also influenced me. I’m not really sold on this one, but it’s the best guy feeling I have day 1.

You love putting votes without much on me, your play strikes me like my first game when I died N1 due to you and pod and you voted me with some weak sauce arguments....

So, what did toad do that was scummy? Percieved incorrect pronoun usage? Did he do anything that actually merits a vote?

The most reasonable vote I think I saw was Toads vote on Vis, for pushing a weak train. But theres no other votes there and we are low on time.

for now. I like Rojam’s list, as his reasoning is mostly sound, although I could nitpick a few things but its D1 so a fair degree of intuition and guesswork is to be expected. But I don’t get why he, or for that matter all these other folks, are looking to nail toad to the wall, for using a phrase like “the town” instead of “us”. Am I missing something here? But I feel like this is a thing we’ve done to toad before, and we lost his town aligned services for it.

I’m not at all sold on Ebon as scum right now. Feels similar to last game and I was completely wrong about him.
