I don't recall jumping on you last game D1...

Maybe it was D2, but between you me and mad we were jumping all over each other

Ebon. Consider timestamps.

One of me and Toad posted quickly without pause for thought.

One of us uncounciously sided with town and one of us did not.

The evidence is all there. If I didnt have a track record of being silvertongued this would be sufficient to clear me.

Yeah, and of that, how many were scum? There were town jumping on each other there, scum was just giving a nudge and some more coal to the fire

You are far too well versed in this game to be cleared by pronoun use. I did enjoy the silvertongue joke tho.

Silvertongue in cheek! Goddamnit I need to read before I post!

This'll be my last action on the forum until I see the Star Wars tomorrow night :) Going dark to avoid spoilers.

I feel completely outclassed here. I probably should've read through some of the recent threads before jumping in, lol.

Interesting how you don't expect people to claim town in a semi-open setup of 2 factions, one of which is scum.

Dafuq is a "semi-open" setup, and what is the significance of it to claiming town? I mean, I guess my assumption is that it refers to the fact that we ostensibly know what roles might exist... but I don't really see the relevance of that to claiming. Isn't it pretty much the default supposition that everyone is always going to claim town of one sort or another?

Interesting use of "the town", whilst talking to us in a post about Freudian slips.

Remember you’re talking to a guy who refers to himself as TheToad... nice try there Gink but calling my statement a Freudian slip is using that term very loosely, Pod wasn’t speaking to one person, but to all of us... hence “the town”

In a semi-open setup you know every possible role, they are the ones in the first post. And because we the ones, we know there are no 3rd party roles, only town and scum, therefore Ebon’s post was a bit of questioning on the obvious beinh stated as you have realized that anyone would claim town here. Welcome back :D

A set up where partial information is known to all from the start.

All you really need to know is that me and Mad are unlikely to slip up if scum at any point. Truth is getting to be a pretty good town leader.

Varying degrees of ability in everyone else.

@TheToad that took you far to long to write.

Thanks for the advice, Mr. Totally-Reliable-And-Not-At-All-Scum.

I especially liked that bit about Truth to legitimize it, since he's not playing this round. >.>

Sorry Gink, gotta pay my bills.

Everyone has confirmed; the game is afoot.

I find all this "interesting" interesting. :D

We have some joke votes and a vote on CNinja for going dark until tomorrow.

Heading out in a bit to see Episode VIII. I promise no spoilers when I return.

I’d push for a lynch if the contrary happened

Interesting how you totally ignored my vote on Caribbean

2nd scum pinned

how many scum do we have anyways, with 14 players?

Sigh

How is this beneficial to town?

honestly we should lynch that guy asap. Why give scum the chance to slip away? I swear if we let him talk his way out we'll run the risk of lynching someone else

I didn't ignore it, I just didn't see it as anything serious...

think youre scumdar may need some tuning... as I'm not the only one to miss it

and with 14 players I'd probably say 3

You've not actually explained it as far as I'm aware just voted him

Why would he talk? He isnt even going to read your post for days.

Really? I’d have guessed at 4 since even vanillas can avoid all actions for 1 night of choosing on them
